I'm hoping they don't get their clothes on before the rest of the gang shows up. That would be just too hysterical. I can just picture it - Molly and Arthur trying to decide whether to hug him or slug him. Next chapter should be real interesting.

Please update soon. I can't stand the waiting.

Nice action filled chapter. It's good to see it as I have been looking for it and awaiting it most anxiously.

It's also good to see that the entire Wizarding World has as little respect for Harry and his feelings as Ginny has. Hermione curses him when all he wants to do is leave. He wasn't threatening her and had actually left them safely behind, but she and Ginny didn't want him to go and so she attacked him. She at least had enough repsect for Neville to apologize to him when she attacks him in PS. And what did she do then? Did she simply take the opportunity to try to explain to Harry that he was wrong in his conclusions, even though he wasn't? Nope, she and Ginny forced him to take their potion knowing that it was untested and might cause him harm or even be fatal. It is one thing for Ginny to be willing to risk her own life but she decided to risk Harry's as well. Hmm, she was angry with Harry because he tried to protect her without her agreement, but she is willing to throw his life into mortal peril for her own purposes. Rather telling, eh? She wants him back in her life so badly that she is willing to kill him to get it done.

The Minister for Magic, knowing that Harry specifically requested to be left alone and anonymous, chose to ignore his wishes and cursed innocent people in order to gain the information it sought on Harry. The Weasleys, after hearing the Minister say that Harry wanted to be left alone, also chose to ignore his wishes. And now they all plan on invading his life whether or not he seeks their company. I gather they will be getting rather an eyefull when they break down the door.

Harry's feelings don't seem to matter to anyone. If he allows them to walk all over him like this then he deserves what he gets.

And don't think I didn't notice that Percy still wasn't mentioned in the bit about the whole family gathering to give George their support.

Again with the Percy thing! So much for trying to sneak stuff past you!

Oh well, Percy isn't around for a reason, which should become clear in later chapters.

As for Hermione, one thing is clear at this point. By not completing the potions Harry had put himself into danger and needed to be restored or he would also face dire consequences. Hermione knew this which is why she agreed to help.

Next up is Ginny. I don't believe that I insinuated that the potion was dangerous for Harry, just for Ginny. The danger was inherent in how Hermione linked Ginny's magic externally to the potion. To Harry it was just another normal potion; it either worked or didn't.

Just some thoughts. I sincerely appreciate your insights. Keep reading.

Loved it! I was shocked when it was revealed what made Harry leave. The Weasley's have bad timing, don't they? Lol!

Poor Weasley's, first they lose Harry for a bit and then this happens. You really have to feel for Molly and Arthur a bit.

Keep on reading!

All right, you through me for a loop. I thought that I would have the while story figure out and it would end on chapter eleven.
Who’s the frisky little writer now? Having them consummate in the heat of their memory exchange. I would have done a lot for then put a pillow over my head if I had to see two people ravage each other like that, and to hear it also (I have to go drink some cold water to help get rid of the brush).
I really enjoy the opening that you wrote with a bit of humor to it, it’s alway nice to read a story that open up with something that can make anyone smile.
Hope that you are still having fun writing this because it has been fun for me to read.
Keep up the good work and post a new chapter soon

I'm sorry, I'm sure this wasn't your intent with this story, but when I came to the part where Harry and Ginny tore each others clothes off and started making love in front of Hermione's eyes...I just started laughing. Laughing and laughing and laughing. Not because it seemed silly or dumb, but because, in the best romantic-comedy-farce sense, it was just hilarious. Wonderful, even. A fantastic, outrageous, yet believable turn of events. And with Arthur and Molly and Ron and--oh hell, why not the entire Weasley clan?--about to barge in on them, there's only one thing that can be said: "hijinks ensue." Awesome!

Truly, I started reading this story on a lark; I thought the premise was goofy but interesting, and things got more interesting as the chapters progressed. But this was the first chapter that I really, truly, enjoyed the story, and I fear that what I've seen in it isn't at all what you wanted: you're going for a sweet-yet-serious look at characters we love going through a mistakes and an adventure of their own devising; while what I'm seeing is something that, as of this chapter, would have made, with just a tiny bit a stylistic tweaking, a top-notch episode of Fraiser. My apologies.

No apologies needed! One of the great things about writing in a forum like this is everyone gets something different out of it. To be truthful, I did write this with some humor in mind, so feel free to laugh at any or all of it.

At the end of the day, I'm just glad that something I wrote touched you a little, even if it was laughing hysterically

Wow! What a violent and suprising end to Harry's self inflicted amnesia! I'm sure that if the Arthur and Molly show up right now it is going to be quite a mess. I hope the potion runs its course quickly. Thanks for writing. This is really a surprising outcome. p

Well I warned everyone that there was going to be some shenanigans this chapter. Arthur and Molly sure aren't going to help the situation much, thats for sure.

At least Harry is now in a place to begin dealing with issues instead of running from them.

A great story, but are you really going to let Authur and Molly wade in to an obviously complex situation to make things worse? That could take a further 32 chapters to sort out.
Saturday 28th June 2008 10:26Lost in Transfiguration (Author Response)
Thanks for responding. Your right of course. This could make things so so so much worse. I'm going to try and do it justice, but I'm not sure I'm up to 32 chapters!!

Thanks for reading.

Oooooooooh......
Please don't let A and M walk in on and . That would be excruciating.

Absolutely brilliant, this is!
I love you characterisation and the way you've worked out all the potioness... so complicated, but believeable!! Well done!

This line made me smile:
You may have succeeded where the vilest of wizards failed. You may have single-handedly destroyed Harry Potter.

haha!

Thank you for a great story.
