Harry told Ron that he would do anything and everything before he let something harm Ginny, so now what is he going to do?
His first choice is whether or not to believe what DD is saying. He could easily decide that DD is partially right but has some things wrong, such as the transfer of the bond. Or he can once again swallow everything DD has been saying as he does in canon.
One possible course of action is to try to find a way to take the piece of V's sould back into himself.
In any case, how will Ginny react to the turmoil Harry is surely feeling.

Glad to see you again! Again you have great insights into my plot. I think you're the only one to point out that Ginny will surely react to what Harry is feeling, or how will she react when she finds out the truth. Will she sacrifice herself willingly?

| This is really an upsetting chapter. On the positive side Harry and Ginny are finally together and very happy with each other. On the negative side Dumbledore now believes that Harry has transferred the horcrux that he has had since Voldemort tried to kill him to Ginny, the girl he loves. That and Ginny is afraid. She has headaches and she is afraid. Now Harry has to find a way to remove the horcrux from Ginny without killing her. He also needs to keep Dumbledore from killing Ginny. What a mess. I look forward to how you are going to work this out. Thanks for writing. p |

So far everyone, including her parents really haven't treated her very well.
How is Dumbledore different than Voldemort? I would say off the cuff that DD doesn't kill or maim, and he truly believes he is saving the world. Voldy is interested in personal power.
But, you're right. The ends do not justify the means. I wonder if he will learn that in time? |

Ooh, portentous happenings!! I can see this two ways, either she really does have a horcrux inside of her, in which case Harry will still refuse to do anything to harm her, or Dumbles is wrong, and Harry still has it, which is why he's not feeling the same effects from the bond that Ginny is. In which case everyone has to go through a whole bunch of trauma until they realize Dumbles is wrong.
Either way, I'm looking forward to finding out how Harry's vows will affect the future in this world. Love the fluff, too, and we definitely need more of it! |

Regardless of the truth, you know that Dumbledore believes he is right. How far will he go to make sure that things go the way he envisions it?
Harry's vow will also direct his actions. What would he be willing to give up to protect Ginny? hmmm...

He's found out! This will really set the ball rolling now, (excuse my awful metaphor) I hope they can save Ginny, while I love angsty fics, I obviously prefer a happy ending. It's going to be interesting to see how Harry reacts. Looking forward to more.
