'Before she could retreat, he captured her lips in a soul-shaking kiss' -- After being gone for 9 years? Not a good move, Harry.
I find myself sympathisizing with both of them. But I think Harry deserves it more. After the childhood he had and his role in the war, the Weasleys (assuming they share Ginny's feelings, and given that Harry wasn't invited to Ron and Hermione's wedding, that seems likely) should have had more patience and concern.

Yeah. Not thinking at that moment, was he?
I find myself sympathisizing with both of them. But I think Harry deserves it more. Excellent -- I want the reader to feel sympathetic for both of them... Families do weird things to protect those they love. |

| Ginny is right, Harry did die that night. But Voldemort killed him. So I can see why Ginny is mad. I just think that they need to and talk about everything. It might help. I can't wait to read more! |

| i really liked harry and ginny's confrontation in this chapter. you really portrayed an array of emotions between the two of them. anger and angst...gotta love it. |

i hate to be critical, as the plot is very interesting, but it was hard for me to connect with the characters at all. the dialogue seemed to be a bit disconnected, not in the sense that it didnt flow well, but in the sense that i had a hard time following it, and still hanging onto what the characters were feeling so to speak.
in addition, a lot of the dialogue seems a bit to poetic...haha. i dunno...it just sort of bugs me as being a bit unrealistic, but i dont think that's something i have a right to complain about.
aside from that, this has been great so far. :D |
