| With the potters being PB it really made sense for them to have family to take care of Harry rather than the 'dumbleys'... & then the sis in love with the best friend and a bond..... Mutt, I'm thoroughly enjoying editing this story for you. I love the idea that James did have someone left behind to mourn him other than Harry and that Harry did not have to go to the Dursleys. I love the flashback sequences showing how close James and Ellie are. However, Ellie's love for Sirius keeps me coming back to these chapters time and again... you write them together so well. Keep the chapters coming...

All the secrets regarding Ellie and Sirius aren't quite revealed yet, so there is still more angst to overcome. This story takes place entirely when Harry is a little boy. The companion story to this one, "Prophecy and Destiny" covers into his school years. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing,

Amy, I appreciate how well you managed all the exposition that needed to be in this chapter. All of the flashbacks contributed to the character development and relationships. Poor Sirius and Ellie...
Again, I want to compliment you on Molly. It makes so much sense to me that she would have helped first time mum Lily. Now she is helping Ellie. |

There was a whole lot that needed to be gotten through here, so thankyou for your compliment. Ellie and Sirius have a tough road here, it's a rather angsty story written at an angsty point in my life.
I always imagined Molly would want to share her expertise, especially with someone who has no reference for raising a child. She's fun to write.
