These Cuts I Have
A beautiful chapter! I know that sounds weird but it's somehow comforting because you bring them all together in ways that are all of touching, fun, and frustrating at the same time.

You write Harry and Ginny so well. You reveal their closeness through their words and actions and it all feels so alive and present. It's good to know Harry's parseltongue is gone and that Ginny has plans for their future together. Their shopping trip down Diagon Alley was just so human; the bickering, the pleasure, and the mutual comfort of being with friends of many years just comes right off the page.

I do hope they find an antidote soon, it hurts seeing Harry in pain and limited in his abilities. I loved the idea of him doing some teaching but it was so hard to see him struggling with it. I do hope you heal him soon!

Thanks for giving us this chapter!

It's always so nice to see your name here again! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Harry and Ginny are both very close to my heart, and I do love them together, so I'm glad you can feel that on the page.

Another excellent chapter! Many thanks! Now you've got me on pin and needles about what happens to Harry!!! All that aside, I really enjoyed how you moved the characters forward through this chapter. Everything feels natural, never forced.

Lovely chapter! What does Ginny get for birthday?..mmhm...a car or a broom. I guess we will see!
I loved the scene where Harry found out he can't speak parseltongue anymore. Never saw it in another fanfiction, so the next wonderful great idea. Those damn reporters, it must be so annoying, but Ginny should get used to it. I always imagined that Ginny will hex more than one reporter or photographer in her quidditch career.
Harry teaching Patronuses (or Patroni?) again!? Boy, can't catch a breath!
I adore Harry and Teddy scences, so sweet and I hope he just fall asleep at the end and didn't faint. Please, cure him fast. Can't stand that anymore.

Ginny's birthday comes up in the next chapter, so you'll just have to wait and see! I agree with you that Ginny will probably hex several reporters during her lifetime, lol.

Oh, so much of this chapter is wonderful I don't really know where to begin! Maybe starting at the beginning would be best. I really love how you are telling the story from various points of view. I can certainly understand Ginny's frustration over a day started wrong-footed that just seems to get worse and ends with an owl from the Ministry tattling on her. What made me smile, though, was her eagerness to join Ron and Harry at the illegal broom races--if they ever found where they could watch one. The good friend/mom in me just melts when Ron worries over Harry and I find myself giving mental kudos to Molly for raising all of her young men right. I can just see the pride Ron takes over Harry's achievements as the leader of the DA and the fact that he's proud of the fact that Harry can easily slip into the role he perfected fifth year. It doesn't hurt, either, that Ron was one of Harry's successful students of the Patronus Charm.

I'm frustrated with Hermione. You know her so well and make her so real that when she pestered Harry while he was taking care of Teddy I pelted my monitor with mini marshmallows. The hot chocolate they were supposed to go in helped calm me down, but the fact remains that she just doesn't know when to stop yet before she does damage, like she did in stressing Harry to the point that he couldn't breathe. The one thing that girl needs to learn is when to quit and it can't come sooner!

*Big sigh* Here are for the fluffy parts of this chapter. Whether you lump Hermione's part in there is up to you.

Hi Arnel! How nice to wake up with such a lovely review from you! I'm glad you enjoyed most of the chapter. I agree that Hermione can be overbearing, but I hadn't had her confront Harry, and as the chapters wore on, it kept nagging at me that she just wouldn't be able to let it go forever. She truly does care, she just doesn't always get how to handle to him.

Ginny's horrible, no-good, very bad day was modelled after one of my own, so she had my sympathy, lol.
