Great start, i can't wait to use more. But surely harry wouldn't have been able to use finite incantatum cos of the underage restrictions?

Awesome, except for the out of school magic performed...But you've been bang on about Snape's new teaching post and Harry sleeping in the twins' room. |

How dare Gred and Forge prank The-Boy-Who-Lived ; nice escape Harry . Cute scene with Ginny , and nice musings on her part. So why did Ginny get so nervous? Because Harry was holding her hands?

*sigh* Romance novels ARE very good when you need something light. Love how Ginny teased Harry...man he's daft, though. 'Probably feels bad for teasing me' indeed. Boys. Heehee. Great chappie again, this develops so nicely I'm hardly aware it is! |

Nice banter, and I like that Harry's there for Ginny when she has the nightmare. |

Man, that makes such a hysterical
image, Harry tiptoeing around the room just waiting for something to
happen :) I don't know anyone else that makes a good kid and adult at
the same time.
-sigh- If I were one of Harry's best friends, I'm sorry but I would
have to put him in a headlock and tell him get that little chip off his
shoulder. Yes, he's had a hard life.. haven't we all. Ok, so he worse
than others. But still, that's no way to treat your best buds, right?
Hooray! The special moments between H and G begun! I'm glad that they
got to help each other :) You described Ginny's heart well; it's not ok
that "she'll never have a special place in his heart", but she can deal
with it. It's never easy to accept, though. At least it'll end in her
favor, though :)
Hey, I used to ready those romance novels! I do miss them terribly.

Nice little interlude there, at the end.
You've started a little friendship that has boundless boundaries with those two. Good.
I hope Ron and Harry's friendship doesn't suffer this.
Good work |

Dear Sib,
Hee hee. I love the idea of Harry being filled with dread and concern, not over deatheaters and evil, but of entering the twins’ room for the summer. I can’t blame him, but come now. They’ve never actually KILLED anyone, have they? Constant vigilance can only go so far. Open closets always freak me out too though. Grin.
You do a wonderful job describing the scene here. I can imagine Harry’s unease, and tension as he lays down. Wouldn’t a glitter covered Harry be festive? No wonder the poor boy’s nerves are shot. Ginny getting him to laugh over the prank was a nice shared moment between the two. You’ve managed to build a quiet understanding between them without a great deal of heavy dialogue or forced situations. I can see this will be a slow build.
It’s refreshing to see a more mature Ginny looking at Harry as a mortal boy rather than hero. She accepts his faults as a friend, and knows that they keep him from perfection a crush would see.
Such a positive start to the day, only for it to end with a brooding Harry and Ginny having a flashback, nightmare of the Chamber and Tom. At least Harry was able to comfort her over her dream, and in turn Ginny tried to convince Harry not to take all of the blame. (I doubt it worked though)
Wonderful interaction here as well, with Ginny braving Tom’s name and Harry beginning to look beyond his own pain to what others might be experiencing. I love that she thanks him for both ‘saves’.
I wonder if Harry sees Ginny as a girl, or just someone who won’t question him about his mental state? He did notice her hair though. (Those Potter men. Grin) Ginny letting him have it over his date at puddlefoot’s was priceless. He laughed: he pays. It’s as simple as that. Good thing he doesn’t realize what an effect he has on her, I can’t believe she didn’t blush! I blushed in sympathy. Think how much fun they can have finding each other’s limits to tease.
This is a very interesting story, and I can’t wait to start the next chapter. Hermione should be arriving soon, yes?
Best Regards,
