Absolutely hysterical. Harry's little twitch was perfect for a little
more humor. My friends and I play spoons and if someone moves to
stratch their ear everyone jumps and grabs a spoon and that poor person
is incredibly confused. Same thing with Pig. Same thing with BS, where
we call out BS every second person. We're a twitchy group and cards
just seem to bring out the worst in us. But, seeing as how we play all
the time, I'm afraid that it may be understandable.

This is cute and funny. Poor Ron though, but I'm sure almost all of us are glad that he finally asked Hermione. |

This is really cute! I love the game Pig...one of those silly
games that's just fun to play, especially when you're in High School
health class and there's nothing better to do. You put a great
Wizarding twist on it by making the players acquire pig parts. I
enjoyed this story very much :)

If I ever make it into the Leaky Cauldron, I certainly won't join a friendly game of cards with any of the other guests. |

Oh my - that makes me wonder what sort of twist there might be on 'poker', 'cribbage' and 'five hundred'! Perish the thought.
Thanks for reviewing! |

Yay, someone else who's actually heard of Spoons! I haven't played it for years, I don't know what brought it to mind when I was writing...
Thanks for reviewing, I really appreciate it! |

I remember reading this story and loving it when it first came out in November of 2003. It's just as cute and just as funny the second time around as it was then. My favorite line is Hermione's last when she names all the pork products associated with the boys' behavior. Good for her! |

I must admit I am rather fond of puns, and in this instance I just coudn't resist. *grin* Thanks so much for reviewing! |

LOL, do you think I need a warning at the beginning. "It is recommended that no pork-products beeaten in the 2 hours preceeding reading of this story"?
Thanks for reviewing. :) |
