I'm on my second read through of this story. My first read had me so upset that by the time Harry is tossed out I was almost sick.
In other words, your writing is powerful. You were able to get me really angry with the Dursleys very quickly. I don't think I've ever hated them quite as much as I do now...except for Dudley.
I'm coping a little better this time...I think. Knowing how things end helps a bit.

Okay, I didnt coment on this in the previous chapter, but Dudly playing with Harry? And now him telling him about his love life
Anyway, it was a nice thought and it's petty sad to see that relationship crushed mearly because of the Order member members hanging around.
It's really sad about Jonathon too. But I like Fred and George's little reminder to Percy. On the other hand, I think you're being extremely harsh towards Hermione.
Anyway, interesting chapter. |

This was really good writing.
I like the way that you had Ron and Harry working out the problems each of them are having together. For guys, a lot was said in that conversation. It is good for Harry and Ron to realize that it isn't only Ginny and Hermione who can help them. Speaking of Hermione, we haven't seen her in a while. I hope her and Ron are ok.
I am really amazed at your ability to write on the "less interesting" side of the story. Most fanfic authors, myself included, would have had enough of Harry being weak by now, have him regaining his strength and a new fight brewing. Instead you have the ability to write about the healing process and make it very interesting.

Hey this was great- actually I think you let Harry be a rather reserved 16 year-old (almost 17 anyway) so I don't think that that was so far fetched, but he's got to get his head back together- He's went through so much and bounced back that he should be back on his feet soon- and stronger as well. You can't put Harry down forever- and with Ginny there- well lets just say that Voldy should run and hide.
Have fun at Disney- that fast pass is great. And check out Sea World if you can- Atlantis is quite the ride. |

I liked how Ginny was able to talk some sense into Harry...and Harry and Ron really do sound like brothers now. I guess with all they've been through, the bonding makes sense.

Well done! I thought the scene with Harry and Ron was very effective; one of your best treatments of these two together. Both he and Harry seem to be finding out that getting over their experience is hard, and it's slow work as well. Your handling of the aftermath of their captivity is well researched and very sensitive.
I'm placing my bets on the Dursleys to win the contest of wills going on in Little Whinging, but I'm hoping I'm wrong. |
