Brilliant! Hedwig showing up with the battered cage? Genius! Well done! I'm really enjoying your story. You're "getting" Cuaron for many of the things I've grumbled about over the years. I love the film but the things he changed (SuperHermione, Dumbledore's robes, wasting time killing bluebirds? Etc., etc., etc.!) were just astounding, as were the Mexican elements he threw in (the eagle and snake around the fountain, the Day of the Dead sweets in Honeyduke's, etc.)

I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your story!

Hermione Sue and the Prisoner of A. Cuaron

[This is a true story. The characters names have been changed to protect the innocent.]

Once upon a time an obsessed HP fanfic reader travelled to a far away land to visit another obsessed HP fanfic reader – an exotic land, an immense teeming metropolis, full of amazing sights and cultural wonders. Did these two obsessed PS fanfic readers explore the wondrous city, learn the language, sample the food and see the sights? No. They sat on the bed for hours, days in fact, laptop in front of them, and read aloud Hermione Sue and the Prisoner of A. Cuaron until their sides burst with hysterics and their neighbours looked at them funny and the tourist police arrested them for ignoring their country.

This truly is a fic worth travelling half-way round the world for. Literally.

Oh dear.  A story never ever to be read whilst eating/ drinking/ breathing/ in a public place/ with anyone else in the room to look at me strangely while I laugh my head off.

Fantastic.

"Hedwig! I completely forgot I left you locked in your cage at the Dursleys'! Clever girl."

You seem to notice a lot of things.  I wonder how his broom fits in that trunk every year?  Update soon!

This, nmy friend, is offcially the BEST Parody I have ever read. No, wait, I;m lying, the best non-songfic parody I have ever read. Can't forget Delani now can I? lol Anyways. This had me rolling on the floor- I swear to you, I would pay to watch this side of the film! Adn I love how you made it all focus on Hermione- that's a highlite of this! But you forgot one important funny that happenned during the movie- the way Lupin (pathetically) defeated the dementor. (Him waking up out of nowhere) But that's okay, I can't say it's that important.

Please update really soon!

Oh dear - it's all the worst thoughts I've ever had about Steve Kloves together in one script.

I love it. It's so beautiful...

I laughed the entire time I was reading this spoof.  You've done a commendable job reworking the original text/script with the assides about Hermione's screen-time and, my favorite, the cracks about Harry's "wand".  I look forward to chuckling my way through your next chapter.  Please post again soon.

OMG!  This is hilarious.  My kids just watched PoA this morning and I was forced to endure it again. This just picks up on all my irritation, lol.  What a hoot.  I felt like Jan Brady the first time I saw it because I just kept thinking, "Hermione, Hermione, Hermione!"  It really gave me quite an irrational dislike of the girl!

I can't get the bloody link, but, dammit, you deserve it! So all i can do is provide steps:

1) www.mugglenet.com

2) Search (at right hand of page) "POA in fifteen minutes"

3)Select third link

4)Scroll down about one third, to get the headline "POA in fifteen minutes" and click on link

5) Laugh and enjoy (it compensates for all the steps to get it, I promise)

I'm sorry for the bothersome-ness of it all, but I prmose, if you haven't read it, it's good.  If you have...I feel like a complete idiot.

Is it the same one that Cleolinda wrote and posted in Livejournal? If so, I have read it and thought it absolutely hilarious. I think my favorite part was Hermione and Harry in the pumpkin patch:   "Why aren't we leaving?  D*** us!!!"

Not sure if Trystym has actually read it though, so thanks for reminding me.  I'll point him that way :-)

That was so bloody funny!  Hermione really does know everything! And she has lots of screen time. I noticed that this is only Part One. Can't wait for part two! And Hermione and Ron were being very bad! I mean, honestly, they are suppossed to wait until about the sixth book! Naughty them!

HA!
Someone else on this planet has seen the Moonlighting episode that mocks Shakespeare and a dozen other things. Bravo, kudos and kibblets to you. I loved that episode!

This is great. I've only seen POA once - in the theater, and was so upset at seeing only 4.782 seconds of Firebolt time that I haven't even watched the DVD. And from what I'm told, I should be glad.

Bloddy Cuaron. This is a good fic. Keep up the good work.

Trys here...My all time favorite Moonlighting ep.  We started this less than 24 hours after seeing the movie on opening day, and it managed to keep up entertained for most all of a 6 hour drive.  There is much more to come...and try and keep track of all the bits that we borrow for other sources.

Hahaha! I take it that you're not a big fan of Cuaron's work? Neither am I! I've gotta say, this was even funnier than it looked like (Loved the title, was laughing my head off when I read it) and I loved this part: "Um, excuse me, but Joanne didn't mention the Leaky Cauldron had changed owners."

Haha, that's exactly what I said to my brother! "Look it's a hunch back innkeeper instead of Tom!" Loved the story, can't wait for the next chapter! :D

Brilliant! Are you a Legilimens? I checked the site, found no new fanfic, went downstairs to watch PoA for only the second time as I had been boycotting the DVD I got for Christmas as I was so disappointed with it. Went to mom, had a long rant with her about all the problems I had with the film, including, but not limited to, the fact that the audience never actually find out who Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are, and the film makers refuse to admit the possibility that some audience members might actually wonder, "How on earth does Professor Lupin know what the Map is? More importantly, how does he know how to work it?" I came back to the computer, thoroughly peeved by the fact that I was unable to maintain a satisfactory rant due to the fact that mom can't be bothered to read the books and what do I find? This! I say again: Are you a Legilimens?

Excellent. Everything you said in this I identified with. I hope there's more; it made their errors seem hilarious, and reminded me of the fact that there are people out there who are as nitpicky as I am (take that, mom!).

Keep it up!

Good job, very funny.  Addressed many of the problems I had with POA.
