Hello
I marked your story for future reading when the last chapter was posted and finally got round to it today.
Mostly I love stories where Remus and Harry get a bit closer as Remus is my favourite grownup in the HP universe. Your parings seem spot on too, Ron and Hermione at least are being seriously hinted at in both canon and the movies IMHO.
The characterisation of the players does not always ring true but I can get into them as they are growing up after all. Especially your depiction of a smarter Ron is good to read. After all Ron is an excellent chess player so he is bright, only maybe not always so observant to other things in life.
Look forward to reading the rest and hope you update soon (the waiting is the hardest part about fanfics I find. With canon at least you get to end the story in one go !). |

First: The Praise. This is very good. I'm glad there's emotion, and there's a lot of hugging going on.
Second: The Admonition. Spelling. Spel Moony's name right - that's a pretty bad mistake there. (Mooney!!) Pinch your beta and correct your spell checker.

I liked the H/G scene at the end, and really enjoyed the Ron and Harry moments. It's nice to see Ron growing up, too.
Why did Hermione ask Harry what he felt for her if she already knew he was interested in Ginny though? That seemed a bit off in the same conversation, but it could just be my extreme aversion to H/Hr pairings. |

Very nice, it just gets better an better. The dialogue seems to work a lot better now and the whole story has got a nice rhythm to it now - really looking forward to the next chapter! The plot is still a bit hazy, but that is to be expected this early in the plot I suppose. |
