Haha, this chapter's not only about Holly's father falling in love. Lee is too! He's just a little blind about it. Like all good HP characters, they are blind to love! Until the right moment anyway haha ^_^
Oh, by the way, I thought the horns from the hangover cure were awesome! I just didn't say that before *grins*
Lovely chapter!

Must be all the magic that's blinding them. *nods* Or there wouldn't be much of a story otherwise.

Good stuff.  I'm happy I have started to read this story finley.

Another wonderful chapter! My vocab is also slightly larger.

I think I could see Lee as an author; he's a good speaker, he just has to transfer in onto paper.

I wonder what the latest gossip will be after their run in with the Neighbourhood Benevolence Society? Angelina will, no doubt, be berating Lee if she gets word of the identity of his supposed new girlfriend. Run, Lee, run!

Nice one,

Sarah

Always glad to help out with the vocabulary!  Lee has a lot of natural talents - he just hasn't found how to put them all together yet.  Yes - the old folks are quite interested in Lee's love life!  And Lee's in Gryffindor - he knows how to handle Angelina.   Thanks for your review!

So, now I've looked up swain...  I love having you to enrich my English vocabulary .  Great story, as always.  Holly and Lee seem to complement each other so well, they share the same sense of humour and are both civilized and polite.  They feel safe in each other's company - in short, they're going to be a great couple!  You're doing a wonderful job portraying them.

Loved hearing about Holly's parents, and really look forward to Lee's parents' story.  I really liked how Holly suggested Lee write a book, and I do wonder - will she help him??  He definitely has a passion for the subject.

Thank you!  (Had to save this a day to not have all the goodies at once...)

Thanks for your review!  I can't believe you can read one chapter at time. I'm so impatient to know a story that I have to keep reading.  I know I'll read HBP in one sitting until it is finished and then I'll be horrified that there is only one more book to go.  So then I'll sit and read it all over again.

Anyway - there will be another update this weekend - so stay tuned!  (I had to double-check 'swain' just to make sure I was using it correctly - it's in the next chapter too!)

I loved your take on the Underground/rubish bins/potential Death Eater activity.  Excellent.  I'm intrigued.

And this chapter was very sweet.  I love the little neighborhood society.  :) (The rumors will be flying, now, about Lee and his "girlfriend"!)

There will be more about the Underground, of course.  What's an HP story without a little intrigue?

I like all the neighbors as well.  They will have a more "stage" time.  Thanks for reading!

Such a great chapter, StM's!  The progression of their relationship is smooth and terrific to read.  And I love the idea of Lee writing a book -- he'd be perfect at writing an updated "Quidditch Through the Ages"!  Looking forward to the next chapter -- keep up the great work, as always!

I'm glad the lack of fluff isn't bothering anyone yet! I do think Quidditch Through the Ages needs more! I guess if JKR won't write it, we can have one of her characters do it

This story is progressing nicely.  I find it rather ironic that Lee is thinking about writing a book - I like it!  I also like how Lee and Holly are coming together.  It's very well done.

There's lots more with Lee and his ultimate career choice.  I'm glad that the Lee/Holly dynamic is working. Thanks for reading!

I'm glad you liked it, Belita.  Can't wait for you to see chapter six - it's one of my favorites that I've written so far because it is just about fun.

What a sweet time for the two. That was ... sweet. Nice.
And I like the 'book' idea. Lee seems just the guy for it - probably more into Quidditch than Ron.

Speaking of Ron - are we going to see some cameos? Harry? Gin? Ron/Herm? Other Weasleys?

Dont' get me wrong - I like this as is. I just think it'd be fun to see them as minor characters for a change.

Good story and work.

You will see cameos of H/G and R/Hr.  That I can promise!  But it will be a long way down the road (after a few twists and turns)  More Weasleys too - Lee went to school with Percy, Charlie and one year of Bill from what I can tell - so he knows them all.

Very sweet and interesting background information on Holly.  Loved the 'meeting'... you have such wonderful OCs!

L.M. Montgomery is one of my favorite authors - and she always has such good "walk-by" characters.  I really wanted to try my hand at some of that.  Lee is so outgoing and he knows a lot of people (as opposed to Harry) so it's important I can get it right in this story.

Hmmm...Lee Jordan...best selling author. I like that. Could we be seeing the beginings of Lee's future. Writing a biography of Black Jack...and wining fair Holly's heart?

This story really has me hooked in...can't wait for the next update.

I'm glad you are enjoying it.  This is a quiet story in many ways - compared to my H/G stuff - but the plot will further thicken.  Hopefully it will all stay interesting!

Thanks, Kelleypen.  I have more coming soon. Lee really grew on me as a character as I wrote this.

Ah, I really like Lee's mum.  And the story of Holly's parents.  And her dad falling into a holly bush, heh.  I'm assuming Lee will meet them eventually?  Yeah, you're probably not going to answer that, are you?

Lovely job as always.  I don't think you couldn't write rubbish even if you tried.

Er, that should be "I don't think you could write rubbish..."

Hi, Penny Lane - I knew what you meant!  You must have had rubbish on the brain after the London Underground.  The next chapter is a lot of fun - one of my favorites to write so far - so stay tuned!

As always, it's a delight to stroll along with your characters as they discover their world and themselves.

What can I say?  Thankyou?  Of course, Thank you, St Margarets, for some truly lovely writing.

Keep writing, I'll keep reading.

Thanks for your review!  I'm just happy that I'm getting some readers on an H/G site!  I've learned a lot writing this story so far - it's really stretched me.  Thanks again!
