You've got me grinning wickedly. There's that other shoe I was waiting to drop. If you haven't figured it out yet from my previous comments, I'm not really a fan of straight fluff. Give me angst and tension any day, and you've certainly done that here.
Credit to you for planning it well, though. Engaged is just right, I think. Marry Ginny and Dean and a noble, selfless Harry like you're portraying her goes running. Have them just dating, and Ginny has no problem breaking away. But this is enough of a dilemma to be a major obstacle without it being insurmountable.
That said, it's not looking all the daunting an obstacle at the moment as Ginny seems rather inclined to fall back into Harry's arms. But I can tell the fun's just starting. Will Harry pull away? Will Dean fight back? Where will the Weasleys align themselves? Interesting questions all, and I look forward to seeing you answer them.

| When I first read this chapter, I gasped "No" out loud. What a major twist and a shocking revelation to have. This was only the first chapter where you finally find out about Ginny and Dean's relationship but it sets up the mood for a good portion of the story. No matter how things go, somethings got to give and someone is going to get hurt. An emotional roller coaster is about to start and we just made it to the lift. |

excellent chapter...best so far in my opinion, at least in characterization. the first one definitely was intense enough.
it was fairly obvious that this was coming, but u still led up to it nicely.
i do feel sorry for harry right now...haha. |

This has been soooo off character for her. I'm not sure where you're going with it... ARG!

I don't think it's off character based on what I know about the story and what you all don't know. :-) Be patient, be open to what you would feel like when you learn the truth.

| Arg. Now who's the scarlet women, hmmm? I did love this line: "The older man slowly reached out to grasp the pale hand of the young man he no longer knew." What a way to describe the situation. I mut say, Ginny's behavior seems abit OCC with the "wanton" behavior, but then again, who knows how she'd act in this situation. |
