| Sorry that I'm only now getting back to you - oh these busy
times! Anyhow, there's a newer missing moment up, and a WIP that
I'm sorting out and hope to begin posting in another month or so.
I'm not certain that I'll continue the missing moment trend through
HBP; there've been quite a few missing moments written from this book,
and I'm excited about other stories. :P

Great story. I think I had started reading the first chapter long
time ago, but never finished the story for some reason. Must have
missed the update. Saw this after your companion piece.
Are you planning on continuing a 6th year fic?

Thanks! Glad that
you stumbled across it. The updates have been sporadic (the final
update only went up about one/two weeks ago).
I'm pretty sure I'll continue through 6th year-- missing moments are
very cathartic for me to write. Anyhow, though I'm sure that I
will write more, it probably won't happen for quite a while after HBP
emerges. I'll need time to really grok the story--and to see
what's cliched, etc.. Hm. But, then again, you never know
when a plot bunny is going to strike.

| What a great story! I really enjoyed the missing moments and
behind-the-scenes perspective you described. Nice work with the
supporting characterizations as well, particularly those of Tonks,
Hermione and Luna. I especially liked those last couple scenes at the
end, with Ginny telling Harry about her letter from George and then
visiting Ron and Hermione in the infirmary. I liked how you showed a
gradual progression in Ginny's feelings towards Harry and left the door
open for him to return those feeling in (I hope) HBP, yet didn't have them on the brink of throwing themselves into each other's arms.

so glad that you liked the characterizations--especially Luna. I
really wanted to avoid the Luna stereotypes--and it wasn't easy!
I enjoyed those last scenes too. I wanted to end it at a point
where, as you say, the door is open, but things could go multiple
directions. Still don't know what will happen with Dean and all
that...(:crossing fingers: )

Alas, no. That needs to be updated. ;) With HBP so
close to its release date (51 days! Squee!), I didn't want to touch the
whole train ride thing. What I aimed for with these three
chapters/one-shots was to write something that would hold up
later. :P
