Yeah, that line was quite shocking when my brother actually said it to me.  This is based on a real conversation... it didn't quite end the same way though.

This was lovely! Funny and quirky and awkward, which meant that it wasn't teeth-rottingly fluffy. And your use of the first person point of view was brilliant. I couldn't point you to a favourite line, as I liked them all, however this stuck out for me:

Hello? Did Harry just hit on me and then go back to the ice cream? Who does that?

Indeed! Again, a lovely story with just the right kind of balance to it.

Excellent!!! Humor, and a tiny bit of yearning. the whole thing flowed so well and was so cute ,with the 3rd.kiss being an almost disaster instead of a soul bonding experience. this one definitely gets my vote.

Oh, that was hilarious and delightful and just yummy! Lots of funny lines in this, too many to mention - it'd be funny to hear if Ginny's speculation about Ron and Harry's earlier conversation was true ... can I ask for a prequel with the boys?

Cute story.  I like the idea of Harry stealing bites of Ginny’s ice cream; a very intimate gesture even if it was done without her express permission.  You did a nice job of showing how Harry tried to convey his interest in Ginny before he had to resort to being blunt and asking whether or not she was seeing someone. 

Excellent! Really, really good job! I have two favorite quotes:

The first elicited a grin from me; the second a peal of laughter (something pretty rare with me). Again, great job, and good luck in the competition!

That was adorable-I loved Ginny's free-flowing dialogue. This was really original, and quite unpredictable. Oh, and the description of the ice cream made me hungry...

An interesting style of writing.  it's fun to have the narrator tell a story like that.

I wanted to try something different this time, I'm glad it worked out.  As for Ginny... she's still a fireball, just maybe not to the extreme in this piece.
