That was very nicely done. And 'the Haven' is such a good name. The only thing is: in defining moments when Hermione is having the baby, you refer to Ron's 'flat'. A house is not a flat. Minor point .

| I started reading through your series this week and I'm just enjoying
it so much. Your writing style is first rate, your
characterizations dead-on, and your plots are quite interesting.
This chapter, in particular, was wonderful. Since my husband and
I are currently searching for a home, I found myself getting quite
emotional at how this chapter progressed. Now I need to find
myself a "Bess" who can help us out in such a fashion, too! ;-)

Ooooh, wonderful! That's exactly what I hope will happen to me
(apart from the stab and publicity thing) - er... us, I mean.
Wonderful, wonderful. Life needs to be a fairy tale every now and
then. Nice stab at "property developers" who only develop their
own bank account, while wreaking havoc upon nice, well functioning
communities.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
I spent years watching my grandfather run property developers who wanted to buy the family farm out of town. It was nice to draw on that experiance and see a fictional one get his too. :D

| Oh, well done, well done! I especially enjoyed this piece. I think you did a great job using Ron's point of view. His longing for his own family was palpable. This is a great improvement on 'Won-Won'! |
