| So much great stuff in this chapter - you're very good at not getting bogged down in wordiness but still giving depth to the characters and plot. I loved the part about hugs and Hermione crying - that's just a lovely picture of the trio's friendship. And Ginny's present is marvellous - can't wait to see that come back into the story (as I'm sure it will). And I thought the lifting of the blood-protection spell was really cool. Poor Harry and Ginny, though - I feel for them both ... |

Aw...harry! Aw....Ginny!! *sob*
I loved this chapter!! I loved all of the parts with Harry and Ginny,
but my favorite part was when Hermione was crying about Harry's first
hug from a relative. Awwww!!
I can't wait for the next chapter!!!!

Thanks, it was a bit of an emotional chapter to write...(sob, sob) I nearly cried when I was writing the bit about Hermione crying about the hug...
Next chapter on it's way to you soon, there might be some more emotional bits in that one too...

| Great addition ... I actually liked the whole 'Petunia realizes she
loves Harry thing...' and Uncle Vernon showing some concern. I
guess I'm just an optimist, but I always wanted Harry to get along with
his relatives someday once they respected his status, but I guess we
shall never see it. Kinda odd, but I really wanted the
Snape/Harry relationship to work out someday ... and I still think it
may! Looking forward to the rest of the story!

Thanks for the review, maybe the Snape/Harry relationship will work one day...you'll just have to wait and see!
I didn't want Vernon to say that he loves Harry, cause that's just creepy, but I did want to show that Vernon was a bit concerened!
