Very interesting indeed. I must say, this story has provided a delightful distraction from my work- I never thought I'd say this, but I almost want to work late so I can finish the story!

This was a very different story. I enjoyed it, even if I found it slightly odd, and a little difficult to follow. There were some stretches that were difficult to believe. Harry running off to find Stephen with no method of communication to his friends, who he swore he wouldn't leave behind. Stephen apparating away and leaving Harry behind just as Voldemort appeared were both pretty difficult to believe. Ginny opening a strange package delivered by an unkown owl without having Harry, sitting right next to her check it for dark magic.

However beyond those moments I thought that Stephen worked pretty well. I thought Macoa was a brilliant device, and leaving us to constantly question her loyalty to Harry was brilliantly done. The scenes of Harry battling the shadow in his own mind, and eventually giving into it were well done.

Keep up the good work, and good luck with your new stories.

This is a really good chapter. Of course Voldy hit Harry when he was distracted and weakened by other circumstances. But Harry isn't stupid. He figured out that Voldy doesn't have all the cards. Harry didn't get this far by being a quitter. At least he recognized that he wasn't doing things the right way even if he didn't have control over them at the time. He will make it up with Ginny and Mr. Weasley. I know you can fix thix. You just have to torment the poor readers first! Thanks for writing. I look for ward to the end of this story and the sequel. p

Interesting condition of Harry
What is Arthur doing? Isn't Harry like a son to him?
Is Harry free of Voldie's control for now?

Wow....so emotional for both Harry and Ginny. I just want to wrap Harry up in a huge hug and cry for him! Why can his life never be simple for him.

Hey... I think I just responded to you over at SIYE... I wrote that I am working on chapter 19 of SotS now and as soon as I have a good rough draft I will publish chapter 17. Sorry to have to do it like that, but I hate posting chapter by chapter, just in case I need to go back and change something. So I'm staying ahead of the game and posting only when I complete another chapter. But hey... I originally wanted to be 5 chapters ahead, so I'm cutting you'all a break, lol. It coming along nicely though. Look for a new update in a week or so. Thanks for reviewing both places! I enjoy your comments.

My only problem with this new control Voldemort has over Harry is that it seemed to come out of nowhere. Besides that, I hope you explain whats going on here in greater detail- it seems as if Vodlemort got near total control while he was sleeping. Great story, update soon!

Hmmm... I thought I'd established something funny going on all evening. Harry's scar attacks, the massive headache, and his mood swings were all not-so-subtle clues that V was up to something. Plus the distraction with the Dementor attack and Wormtail in the house... However, yes, you will get a better explanation for how our favorite Dark Lord is getting into Harry's head. Unfortunately, you'll have to read the sequel, Shadow of the Serpent, in order to find out what he did. Hope to see more reviews from you in the future. Thanks for reading!
