I'd remind you that I have, in order of priority, a wife, a job, and several self-chosen responsibilities to other people.
I kinda figured that. Hence the words 'I'd appreciate', rather than something less polite, such as 'I demand'. |

Sorry, I guess I over reacted; I hate getting criticized for that kind of thing. |

Be careful - bright lights at the end of tunnels may be basilisk eyes. :-) |

"Will hopefully go up late March"..."expect future updates to be more regular again"...
Yeah, right.
I'd appreciate you hurrying it up. |

I'd remind you that I have, in order of priority, a wife, a job, and several self-chosen responsibilities to other people.
Writing I do for myself, and its a low priority.
Editing and publishing I do for people, like you, who read. It remains a priority at all only as long as I feel that both the readers and I are getting something out of it. |

Good chapter. I can't wait to see what Harry can do with the sword. Keep up the good work. |

Well, he'll do some thrusting, some cutting, a whole lot of parrying... |
Jake Monday 20th February 2006 13:40 | Harry Potter and the Flame of Life |
Great chapter, I liked Sir George and I can't wait to see what Harry does about Grimmauld Place. Keep up the great work and update soon!

So far everyone likes Sir George and no one has groaned about my implied pun... maybe I need to make these things more obvious... |

No fear - as an engineer, I'm in no position to critique other people's spelling. Much.

I'm so glad you're back to writing this story. I can't wait to find out what happens next. Keep up the great work!

Its good to be back - and to get reviews to inflate my ego again. :-) |
Wolf's Scream Sunday 19th February 2006 15:56 | Harry Potter and the Flame of Life |
Quite interesting & well done. "Jerry" sounds like an interesting person, but then, I'd expect any female given the name "Jeremiah" to be at least a bit odd. :-} [Hmmm... Jerry would have been at Hogwarts when Remus was teaching DADA, yes? Perhaps she would have recognized him?] And Sir George's point (no pun intended!) re: the variety of bladed weapons is certainly well-taken -- but you knew that (given that you wrote it!).
Developments re: Sir George & 12 Grimmauld Place should be quite interesting.... |

Um. Well, you might think that Jerry had been at Hogwarts when Remus was teaching, but she was doing... a year abroad. That's it. This isn't a continuity goof - move along, nothing to see here... |

man- this was hilarious, then it got serious (i'm sorry, sirius jokes seem to be everywhere at the mo!) then it got funny again and then it got REALLY serious!
good stuff though- i await the next chapter eagerly!! |

Well, for me the ultimate Sirius joke was an A/U fic that revealed he was based on a real-life wizard named Earnest White... |

I like bringing Godric Gryffindor's sword into the story. George seems doddering but harmless, although I'm not as convinced about Jerry. I wish she hadn't seen the sword.
I hope Moody is okay and can't wait to see what Harry does to reclaim his house. |

So much distrust - introduce one or two original characters and suddenly everyone's afraid. :-)
Reclaiming the house is next chapter, so you won't wait long. |
