Well you certainly got to the point. There was no extended dancing around each other for Harry and Ginny. I like that they are back together (as they should be) but it could add some tension to the story. I worked on a story of my own though and I know how difficult it is to write them apart and then getting back together! This is good though, you did a good job of it.

Nice touch with the hand on the clock for Harry ... and next to Ginny too . First Petunia (of all people :lol and now Ron and Hermione giving Harry advice on Ginny. Let me guess, you don't like how Rowland had those two break up . Well, I'm glad to see you're putting them back together . And I like how Harry goes off on Ron and Hermione. But it appears to have worked .

These two chapters are a great start to what promises to be a fantastic fanfic. I love your theories about Aunt Petunia’s reasons for treating Harry the way she has and the fact that she summoned the courage to set him straight. I’m really glad that she told him to make up with Ginny [and that he acted upon her advice] because he really does need her love and support, even if he doesn’t realize just how much he needs it at the moment.
As for “some things are better left unsaid”, Harry occasionally doesn’t think before he speaks in canon and I loved his tirade at Ron and Hermione. Thank goodness for little miracles that made the two of them begin snogging in Ginny’s bedroom. I hope that comes true in Book 7...it’ll make life much easier for everyone if those two aren’t circling each other like a couple of love-struck crups.
I’m looking forward to your next chapter and hope it comes soon.

Cute chapter. I didn't like this though: "Even Neville would probably have been able to do it. " I don't think that's a fair statement... I really don't like it when people underestimate Neville or downplay his importance. Then again this is your fic, but I think it would be better to say "Even a first year would probably have been able to do it. " Other than that small fact, I really like this so far!! Keep it up!

| I thought it was a fairly innocuous comment myself. After all other than passing his OWL I can't find a single example of a Neville transfiguration success anywhere. Still, for all you Neville fan's out there I do have big plans for Mr Longbottom in future chapters. |

I've told myself that I won't read any more Horcrux Hunt stories, but well...I just couldn't stop myself. So far, you've written the obvious - stuff that I've seen in other fics, like the locket, Regulus Black, Harry receiving that lecture about Weasleys being blood traitors, and Harry getting back together with Ginny.
But, I'm curious to see how you'll portray your own Horcrux Hunt, and give it your own original twist. |

| How sweet that Mrs. Weasley added Harry to the clock. I loved that! Way to go Harry for speaking his mind with Ron and Hermione. I don't know if anything less will get them moving. It seems that Harry gave in pretty easily to Ginny though. Our Harry is quite stubborn so I think Ginny would have to put up more of a fight. I'm pulling for them to reunite (believe me), but I don't think JKR will see it that way. Oh well! That's why we have authors writing lovely reunions like you have. I can't wait to see how R/Hr are in public now. Nice chapter. |
