Harry must have really upset Ginny and the Weasleys for Ron and Hermione not to invite him to their wedding.

this seems to be just an extended part of the first chapter...but that's just me.
anyway, i'm really liking how you're setting up this story so far...it's very interesting.
ah, and i remembered the other thing i was wondering about...this was posted after OotP came out i think, and yet sirius is still alive? im trying to make sense of just what the setting is so far as to be able to figure out just what canon you'll be using in this fic...but it's hard as it's listed as an AU. it seems like a post-OotP, but still...

You're right -- when I submitted this for consideration I had to provide two chapters, so I was sneaky and split the one I'd written into two! : ) Awful, I know...

Yes, I started the story back before OotP came out and had figured Hagrid to be the major character to get the ax. Whoops! So as soon as OotP came out the story went A/U, but I did reserve the right to plug in bits and bobs from OotP as things progressed (like Luna's character -- although we now know that JKR has put the kibosh on any Neville/Luna ships -- some of the spells, etc...). It's also not uncommon for me to add something from one of the films, although those tend to be more along the lines of costuming or the way buildings are laid out, etc...

| I just had to do it ,didn,t I ? Read chap 2,and that means I will no doubt read the rest ,cause it is brilliant. At last .someone to give Harry "a little drop of detail"[an old Navy saying my Hubby used to use],and put the ball in his court where it well belonged. Knowing Ginny and this little of your writing I,ve just enjoyed, she won,t make it easy on him,and I hope she doesn,t. |
