Neither Can Live
Well at least Harry tried to leave by himself. Ginny is acting a bit weird, but no Magic? It is still unresolved as to what Harry is going to do. I am enjoying this version of Harry's relationship with Ginny and the start of the horcrux hunt, if it can only get launched.

Fleur's mom makes a good point (not about the home or family); doesn't the wedding usually take place in the bride's venue?
Well-written! The confrontation(s) with Ginny was(were) very good. She understandably very upset, but isn't 'I understand that you'd rather be with a French strumpet like Gabrielle than with me' a bit beneath her? (I know, its the alcohol talking ). I liked Hermione's line -- 'I can't believe you don't believe in us, Harry.' Perhaps Harry got off a bit easy .
Now Ginny's run off to the woods, unable to defend herself (can cast the spell); and from Hermione's (and Ron's ) actions something's going to happen to her .

Fluer has, of course, chosen to make Bill as comfortable as possible, and a newfound respect from his family has made her more comfortable around them, n'est-ce pas?

Yes, Ginny is making arguments that she would have never made without the alcohol. Some of them are things even SHE would think are ludicrous. I took her inebriation from my sparse experiences with drink ;D

Harry was going to catch hell if not for what happened in the next chapter, believe me

Wow. I think Harry and Ginny just need to talk things out one on one. But good chapter.

Hmm, I tend to think Ginny and all the Weasleys will be far more supportive than you've given them credit for here. The idea that he feels like an outsider now at the Weasleys is amzaingly sad, and I find myself feeling a bit angry at them for doing that. I've always liked the vast difference of how he felt at the Weasleys compared to the Dursleys - now that's gone. Really nice job of playing up the emotions on that front. I think you've got Harry spot on - despite my annoyance with Ron and Ginny. It's so easy for them to be critical when they've never lost anyone and he's lost so much. I'm really curious to see where you're headed.

Half of Harry's feelings are the fact that he is pushing them away. Mrs. Weasley has been accepting enough, and Charlie. Ron is torn between his best friend and his sister, and is distracted by his girlfriend, who he's probably just now realized is all he's wanted since 3rd year or so. Ginny is trying very VERY hard to be brave through all this. Then she had a drink. So, really, it's all confused and emotional. :X

Whoa. I think you captured the contradictory nature of all those emotions very well.

Contradictoray emotions are an unfortunate fact for Harry. His entire life has been one big contradictory emotion-fest!

This is a wonderful chapter. You write all their emotions very well, especially Ginny. She's fierce and she loves Harry very much, so it's really plausible she acts this way.

I really like how you've written the interaction between the trio. There are now six years of friendship, which you show very well. It's Harry's old hero complex again, wanting to leave his friends behind so they'll be safe. Slowly he should know that he needs them.

I'm looking forward to your next update. If it's as great as this chapter, then it's even worth waiting months. I'm really thrilled to read the next one - will something happen to Ginny? The last lines sort of suggest this...

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I was very nervous about letting this chapter out, since it took forever and still seems rough to me. I'm very happy that you enjoyed it!
