I could have really loved this moment added to HBP. So much more could have happened if Harry and Ginny had been more open and honest earlier on. I think I like your version better

Wow, great compliment! I hope JKR doesn't read this. She might send me a howler.

I liked chapter 2 as well, I just forgot to add this to my update list! Anyway, It was a lovely surprise to realize you had finished this story -- I kind of liked the end, it's nice to see Harry and Ginny not jumping into things all of a sudden for once (although, I'm sure they'll be together soon). Are you planning a story for Hermione and Ron? Peeves...that was an interesting twist.

Oops, missed a review. Thanks for reading, but I'm afraid, R/H will have to do without a sequel.

Awesome! I love the last scene with Peeves plotting...that is so ingenious! Hope to see more romance.

What a wonderful ending! Who would have thought that of Peeves?

I enjoyed the whole story very much and I think it was an original take on everything... What happened, and the way you told it. Just wonderful.

A wonderful conclusion to the tale! I like where they ended up for their discussion, and I like the little hint that Harry was enjoying watching Ginny get angry. Her thought process about when and how things changed was really well put, and I thought their conversation was just … yummy! Well written, as always, and a most enjoyable trip down AU lane. Loved it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter right from the start. With much to risk, but with many burning questions that need answering, you have Ginny demonstrate some trio-esque qualities by sneaking, under cloak, up to the Hospital Wing. The ensuing bedside scene is great as you add simple touches that change it from one of uncertainty to stirring with truly romantic qualities.

“It smelled… like you.”

This is great because the characters are at the age where such observations are made in these situations but seldom shared. When I went to school, all the girls used Charlie, Obsession, or others but this one average girl wore Poison; it was like a beacon.

You played the rest of the chapter out in awesome fashion. Not being able to sleep that night without knowing what was going on with Harry… well, who hasn’t been there? That was a great way to start her day of frustration. You kept building the level of discomfort for her before any rewards were in sight. Well earned rewards leave you with such a great feeling. For anyone who hasn’t experienced this in their life yet, I’m sure they think that you mercilessly punished Little Gingersnap. Having them wind up in the place Harry and Ron had walked in on her with Dean in OOtP was a nice touch.

The dialog that you created between H & G at the end, the nervous voicing of feelings between to teenagers who are anxious on how the other will receive them, was classic. Rejection or reciprocation can be tough place to be. Sincere honesty is always the best way to go.

Awesome job!

I liked chapter two - I just knew something bigger was on the way! Glad to see Harry and Ginny are back on track! Can't wait to see how you get Peeves involved with Ron's birthday surprise!

I'm really enjoying your story!

Thanks, but I'm not going to involve Peeves any more than I already have. This story is finished.

You know I was kind of depresed this morning coming back to work after a lovely three day weekend. I can't thank you enough for putting your story update up today. It has started my morning off on a good note and really made me smile.

I love the voice you have given to both Harry and Ginny. It captures the spirit that JKR gives to them very well. Ginny's explanation of things changing was really well done. Thats a tough thing to put into words b/c while it is completely clear that things HAVE changed, explaining with words exactly how they changed is tough.

BTW - if it's any consolation chapter two (and chapter one and three) really spoke to me. I like your style of storytelling as well as your characterization.

I am looking forward to the next installment. Not only to see what Harry and Ginny do/talk about but to see what Peeves does to push Ron and Hermione out of this Won-won nonsense. Do you think you can manage to work in the My Sweetheart necklace? I just wish someone besides Harry knew about it. JKR really took pity on Ron letting him keep that a secret.

Making someone's day better is a huge compliment. Thank you.

However, there won't be a next installment, and the last lines should tell you what Peeves could have done in canon, if he was a romantic with a tendency to recklessness.

What a lovely story with such a surprise twist...Peeves as a romantic and a matchmaker?!! Who'd have thunk it? That's got to be one of the most unique twists in all of HP fanfic.
I also liked the way you handled the interactions between the various characters.
After spotting this in the update file, and realising that there was more than one chapter (I'm still fairly new on Phoenix Song) I followed my usual method of clicking on the author's bio/list of stories first to check out their work. So, I've been spending the last couple of hours working my way through your stories and have just thoroughly enjoyed everything I've read so far,( I've still got a few to go) especially "Not Enough" and it's prequel. I'm looking forward to reading more of your lovely stuff in future.

Long Live The Quartet!

Heh, I just discovered this one today, even though I'm not usually an AU fan. I like it. I liked Chapter 2 very much, too - I like seeing the friendship between Hermione and Ginny. (Although I definitley think there was more to Hermione/Viktor than we saw through Harry). The blending of real and new stuff works quite well. I'm really enjoying the insecurity of both of them, and I loved the idea of Harry not defending himself because he felt guilty. That's so Harry.

More than kissing between Hermione and Krum? - I hope not. I'm not even certain about kissing, after all, she was only 14 at the time, plus quite fascinated with ickle Ronnikins.

Sorry, should have reviewed this before. Yes, I like it. It's an interesting story - and I don't usually read AU fics. It's a cool idea to blend some of the H/G events of the HBP into an alternative development of the relationship. Good work.

I usually don't write AU fics, because I don't read them either, but as I said, it wouldn't go away and seemed to work quite well. Glad you like it.

Very enjoyable. I particularly enjoy having Harry parrot some of Hermione's words to Ginny.
