wow!!! this is really interesting! At first i thought that he ran into a wizards family, but then you would think that the little boy, and the girl, would have recognized the scar and not ask about it...

'Once upon a time. My family is more important to me and there are so many children out there who need my help. I gave that life up and asked the Ministry to strip my magic' -- Interesting take. Have you read Girlyswot's 'Time's Winged Chariot'? She also has a character who abandoned magic. You seem, though, to have a more positive portrayal of such .
I meant to comment on this but forget in the other review. But you probably don't mind another . |

No, I haven't read it. Maybe I will though. Dunno... Just thought one more leap for Harry. Thanks for reviewing. And, no, I don't mind another. |

I'm glad Harry found Rachel. That was good luck for him (for once), but too bad she didn't have her old wand lying around somewhere , oh well that would be too much to expect . So where's the father who allows his son to shoot people? And how did Rachel, who takes in strays marry such a man?
I'm curious to see what happens when Harry gets to London. Is he going to be able to get to the Leaky Cauldron without trouble? Probably not. Maybe not even to the coach -- though I doubt pureblood wizards would know much about Muggle transportation.
But if he makes it as planned; it will be easier than he thinks, because all the twins have to do is take him to St. Mungo's. But I gather he'll have something for those spying on his house .

Boys over-exaggerate, especially when bragging to close friends or brothers. I actually modeled the boy after a bunch of friends I have who are hunters and around the age of 12 had a fascinations with shooting things. Damien wouldn't have actually shot anyone, the gun's just there for a scare.
Only one chapter left, so I think it'll fall short of your expectations, sorry, but at one time, it was a one shot. A very, VERY long one-shot, but one all the same. Maybe a sequel sometime... I've recently had a very trying and very writable experience, so we'll see... |

SQUEE!! What a lovely chapter! I love that last paragraph,
He had already planned out what he was going to do when he arrived in London. He was going to go to the Leaky Cauldron and get Tom to open the wall into Diagon Alley. From there, he was going to go straight to the twins' shop and have them bring her to him; it was less risky that way. They would meet in the twins' flat above their shop. His heart was beating feverishly just thinking about their meeting. He couldn’t wait.
Harry had it all planned out. =D Good job, once again. Can't wait for update!

Thanks for the review. At that part, I just picture Harry bouncing in his seat, fidgeting like a 4 year old on a sugar high. I'm glad you liked it. |

Oh my goodness! I have had a similar story in my mind, but sadly I cannot write so all it could do was run around in my empty little head. You have done a wonderful job with this story and I'm so excited to read more! Update soon! |

I'm looking forward to see if Harry gets to the Leaky Cauldron without anything else happening. He's in for a big surprise when he sees Ginny!
This is shaping up into a very well written story. Nice job! I'm really looking forward to reading the next chapter. |

Thanks a lot. I owe a lot to my beta for making me break it up into short chapters. Hardly anyone read it when it was a one-shot posted on another site. It was too long. |
