Woo hoo! lmao I love how it's Sabrina, lol I miss that show, it was amazing!
That secret of Sabrina's is the one wizards – especially wizards who are Aurors – have been trying to discover for years."
I bet lol

The Weasleys always have something interesting to talk about! As do H/G! |

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the whole part with Charlie. But you knew I would. And the Sabrina's Secret nightie was a very nice touch. |
Monday 27th November 2006 09:16 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
I'm glad you liked Charlie in this! I wasn't that complacent, believe me! In this story I have Ginny doing a lot of things like Charlie did - moving away, doing something completely different than her siblings, etc . . . and I really enjoyed examining their relationship.
Thanks for reading as always! Sherry should have the next chapter up today. It's the honeymoon scene and I really worked and worried over it! |
swngnblues Monday 27th November 2006 08:37 | The New Zealand Chronicles |
I loved the time between Ginny/Charlie... just time being spent as brother/sister. Always seemed that Bill & Charlie were the sensible ones with Ginny, where she could almost act like they were her father, but still talk to them about things she couldn't tell Arthur.
I got such a kick out of the "girl talk"! "Freckles are.... nice" That's all Hermione could come up with? Of course, sounded like she was a bit put out with Ron at the time. But the slip thingee sounds really... "nice"
I think I'd have the same kind of reaction Harry did when Ginny told him that the gift was from a lingerie catalogue. Although, I'd probably not have the same kind of joke he responded with...
Great stuff! |
Monday 27th November 2006 09:12 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
LOL. Characters in books always have better comebacks than real life people! I'm glad you enjoyed the Charlie/Ginny talk - Ginny will remember it when she has some tough times later in the story.
LOL - "Nice" can have all kinds of connotations, now can't it?
The slip thingee will show up again in the next chapter. (Which should be up today) |

I liked the bit about the freckles,
Nice take on Victoria's Secrets with Sabrina's secrets.
I was begininng to think there were problems between Charlie and Kathleen; so she was attacked by Death Eaters, interesting.
I wonder if Shangri-La is going to figure in later -- Dark Witch, same side of the globe as New Zealand? Oh well, I just have to wait and read
|
Sunday 26th November 2006 12:28 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
The mythical land of Shangri-la is in the Himilayas - so it's not close to NZ. The Dark Witch and all of that will figure more prominently in Ron's story rather than Ginny's, but you will hear her mentioned again.
Some day I will write Charlie's story and how he met Kathleen on his way home from Bill's wedding and had quite the adventure with Death Eaters and such. |

Great chapter. Ha! "freckles" funny. Fluffy of course, but funny. Keep up the great writing. Holiday wishes to all. |
Sunday 26th November 2006 12:24 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
I had fun with the freckle talk! LOL. You just know the Weasleys will always have fun holidays when they are all together - esp. with the in-laws. |

lilyp Thursday 23rd November 2006 14:42 | The New Zealand Chronicles |
I had read the unbetaed version of it. But it is worth rereading it. You really are the queen of fluff. It's so sweet! But in a way we don't lose our teeth, because all her happiness feels real. I 'mareally looking forward to next chapter, because it was the most wonderful H/G wedding story I have ever read. |
Sunday 26th November 2006 12:22 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
Oh, I'm glad you liked the wedding chapter. I really found that difficult to write as much as I love fluff. Weddings are so predictable that I thought the ritual should be the backdrop rather than center stage. I think you're right about real happiness not being too sweet. I'm glad this chapter turned out that way. Thanks for reading! |
Grandma Kate Thursday 23rd November 2006 09:40 | The New Zealand Chronicles |
OH, what a chapter!
Charlie has the best lines in the first half. My favorites include-
"Still sneaking around the broom shed, I see?"
"Last autumn. Kathleen miscarried during Mum and Dad's visit and…."
"You don't have to wear a tiara to be a princess."
"Don't try to compare your new home with your old home. Give it all you've got – that's all I'm saying."
"...Whatever you do, do it with your whole heart."
And the sisters-in-law get quite a few zingers later. Enough that Ginny muses to Hermione-
"I just got The Talk, didn't I?"
Harry's adds enough that Ginny thinks, "Maybe Fleur was right about men liking everything."
Wonderful! |

Dear Charlie, I have such a story I want to write about him - but he has to wait in line. Still, I was able to have some fun and drop some hints. LOL - the Weasley in laws would be a formidable group, don't you think? I'd love to see a one shot with all of the Weasley women together for some girl talk.
Thanks for reading this again! You're very sweet to do that! |

i can't wait for the wedding.
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving holiday.

Thanks! I had a great Thanksgiving. The next chapter is formated and ready to go. When Sherry is ready, she will post it for me. Lots of fluffy goodness to come, I promise. |

Oh lovely! Goodness. Thank you for another brilliantly fluffy ending. |

Another wonderful chapter! I especially like the part where the girls talk about "Freckles". Nice. hehe
Keep up the good work. |

I liked the freckles scene as well. I think anyone who took on a Weasley man would have to like freckles and would have to have a strong personality to boot! It was fun to get the "in laws" together. |
mary-v Wednesday 22nd November 2006 17:04 | The New Zealand Chronicles |
Oh I loved this chapter! I'm practically bursting in anticipation for the next chapter!! The conversation about freckles, and Harry and Ginny's reunion, and the whole scene between Charlie and Ginny, and evrything is absolutely perfect!
Wonderful work!!
And Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a lovely Thanksgiving! Thank you! I think you'll like the next chapter since it's all about fluff. (My favorite!) I would love to write a one shot with all the sisters-in-law together talking about their Weasley men - the freckles scene was as close as I could get. |
Ishi Wednesday 22nd November 2006 15:04 | The New Zealand Chronicles |
Brilliant. Just brilliant. I love the 'get back on the horse' talk between Charlie and Ginny, and I love, love, love the way you write your characters. They're so real, and you always have me smiling, crying, and getting angry right along with them. Bravo. |
Sunday 26th November 2006 12:10 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
I'm glad you liked the Ginny/Charlie talk. In this story at least, I've made them a lot alike in going out and seeking their fortune. I like that bit of a renegade in Charlie and I think Ginnhy would too. Thanks for reading! |
daniel_r_crazy22 Wednesday 22nd November 2006 14:48 | The New Zealand Chronicles |
Sabrina's Secrets. That's great. And a wonderful chapter. Is it tomorrow yet? Oh I hope so. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I can't wait. But, I know they don't meant it like that. l0l. A wonderful chapter. Once again. |
Sunday 26th November 2006 12:09 | The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response) |
I'm glad you liked it. I hope the next chapter will be up soon, since it's H/G fluff all the way! Thanks for reading! |
