Wow. Very intense chapter.

So Liam's grandfather was a wizard and his mom is a Squib?

I am so into this story! I'm glad I stumbled across it.

Ok, so now Callum is a wizard? That was a big chunk of Liam history to be written just for the heck of it; I am excited to see how it plays into the main story line later. Also, the different dimensions and views expressed are really making this story work. When trying to forget what I already know of the Death Eaters and Voldemort through HP novels, I start getting confused about who I agree with! All of the logic, justifications, and beliefs of each individual character is completely believable, and really strengthens a key point-- no one is all good or all bad.
After reading several times, two lines of your story confused me a bit. First, "I have always held his father in high regard, though he has never been a silent supporter of Pureblood Society." Second, "You never befriended me because you felt sorry for me or because you sincerely wanted a friend."

I simply can't let this chapter go un-commented-on. You've done a really nice job on conveying the impending rift between Regulus and Liam. I know I should feel something for Regulus, but all I can say is that he's dug himself into a rather deep hole. It's his own fault that he's ruined a seven-year long friendship. Liam, on the other hand, gets all my sympathy. I just hope that he isn't walking into big problems of his own by leaving London; as he said himself, his part of Ireland is wizard-less and to me that's almost as if he's creating his own danger zone because he has no magical back-up he can rely upon.

Let's get chapter six up soon...
