Mars is Bright Tonight
I liked it, I really did. It was short and sweet with enough detail and images from the books to round it out really well. I like how you pulled stuff from first year, and the summers since then. It wasn't too mushy/fluffy, which was a plus as well, it was more romantic and believable. Which brings me back to pulling things from the books, I love the fact that you included Harry's monster and jealousy while making this, it was excellent.

Very nice. Just the right touch of humor mixed in with the romance, as it should be. Love and all its trappings are, after all, inherently comical. Or at least, that's what I think.

It was interesting to read something written from Harry's perspective in the first person. I've certainly given Harry plenty of page time in my story, but never in first person. It's a more intimate view, to be sure, but perhaps I change POVs too often for it to mesh with my own work. For yours, however, it was obviously the best choice.

It is a bittersweet piece you've written, as things perhaps should have been, not as they were, since Ginny all but disappeared from the pages of book seven. But after all, isn't this what fanfiction is for?

Well written, and well enjoyed.

I really enjoyed this. I always thought the whole breakup was idiotic and made no sense - for the same reasons you give here. I kept thinking JKR would do something like this at the beginning of book 7, but since she did not, I can enjoy your version. Very nicely written overall, though the phrase,
the familiar feeling of her soft ruby reds
is one you may no longer be fond of yourself ... it's a little too much. However, lines like
we are both soon lost in our own world; Voldemort is forgotten, the wedding reception is wiped from our minds, and the only thing we can focus on is the feel of the other at every point we make contact
and many others more than make up for that one phrase I disliked.

Sorry for the double review - cut & paste errors made the first one make no sense.

From hating the dress to liking it in three easy steps .
I like Luna twirling the wand, nice touch.

Well, Luna is one of my favourite characters, and i could just see her doing something like that *laughs maniacly* and was there ever any doubt that he was never going to just love the dress?

Thanks so much for the review...

I have only admiration for those who undertake writing in the first person present tense. That is very challenging. This was a fresh approach to a scene many have tackled. Congratulations for giving us something very new.

Awesome. Way to take the "Ginny and Harry at Bill and Fleur's wedding" idea and totally make it your own. I've gotten a bit tired of Ginny getting mad when she was so understanding in HBP. You've done great work with their reconcilation, and I like the way you have her in danger because it's obvious he cares about her, regardless of whether they're actually together or not.

thanks so much...im glad you liked where i took it...it took forever to finish it, but that is given that i didnt write in it constantly...more over, i went back to it every once and a while...

thanks, and i really dont believe Ginny was mad at Harry either...she knew it was coming, and just because she was mad at him, doesnt mean she cant try and get him back with her charms...

thanks so much for the review, and im glad you enjoyed it...

I do love fluffy wedding stories. Noble Harry does not have a chance if Ginny wants him back. No sense wasting more time!

This is a very sweet story and I enjoyed reading it.

Please don't be annoyed with me for pointing out that Mars set at around 9:45 at that time of year in 1997, and wasn't unusually bright. (It was brightest in April that year.) (JKR never pays attention to real astronomy, so why should we? At the time the centaurs told Harry that Mars was bright, back in the spring of 1992, Mars was at its dimmest and wasn't even visible in the nighttime sky. *sigh*)

I enjoyed this. One minor qubble, though. I thought Luna still had his wand when he took it out to conjure the fireballs.

Pardon me...on reread, I see that it was returned. I feel silly now.
