Can you actually sell dragon dung? I think it would be funny seeing HP selling something like Dragon Dung.

Echoes of Power
If Dumbles knows of Harry's War Mage status, why would the blow-hard let Snape bring him in? Surely dementia isn't so far along that he did not realize that Harry would be justified in his actions? Personally, I would have immediate3ly called Shack back or some other aurors and reported the Headmaster. No body has the right to use legillimancy on another, and particularly not a minor and the demented old fart should be called on it and have his "respect" for others brought out publicly. Every one always lets Snape, Dumbles, and Malfoys off when they assault, mind-rape, and infringe on the rights of others.

Now when I find Author's answer about War Mages it should be some kind of answer to my question (150), but it rised more other questions .

Why Dumbledor said as he did then? ehm. I believe there was few in training in period of this 150 years, coz some of Harry's tutors/mentors should be a War Mages themselfs...

I hope to find more clues or explanation further chapters :|

A War Mage. That sounds interesting. I wonder what Harry's final House will be. And the prank war sounds fun. And the girls...haha

There are prank wars, and then there are Prank Wars. Never underestimate a determined Weasley, nor a Marauder. All things are possible -- if you've got enough nerve.

I hope that Harry, as in so many fanfics, is really well-trained, but he still has difficulty putting his opponents out of commission and makes stellar errors by getting over-confident. PLEEASE, don't make those "errors."

I'd like to think that this story is going to take most cliches and fanfic trends, and twist them around. While it may appear to be (foo), it will turn into (bar) soon enough. that said, Harry is well trained -- for some things. He's also poorly trained in others... But overall, he's way above what someone his age would normally be prepared to deal with. There are solid reasons for the gaps he has, though, which hopefully some of which are clear by now if you've kept reading. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Wow! The sorting hat is deffinitely having a tough time. We still don't know what his permanent house if any will be. Dumbledore's announcements were ambiguous. We will have to wait and see what happens. Ginny's response to Harry's teasing is unusual. Also predictable. We will see how it goes. I look forward to Harry's prank war with the twins. This should be really entertaining. Thanks for writing. p

Ginny's response is unusual, that's quite true. However, before you think "fanfic cliche", you may want to wait for a while and see how it plays out. (As in, wait a while beyond Chapter 24.) All is not necessarily how it seems at first sight... Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

So Harry is not only putting other people in their place, but apparently needs some education himself. I do like Mr. Floppy
Why no War Mages in training in over 150 years? Wouldn't the wars against Grindelwald and Voldemort have induced recuits?

Floppy is quite the character. I'm kind of sad that I keep removing some of the Floppy scenes to help the story move quicker (that's scary, isn't it?) and flow smoother. I've had to leave him to only interjecting his commentary at critical junctions, with reflections on who Floppy is and what he's saying as synopsis points. Oh well. Your question on the war mages is a good one. I believe you've raised other questions about them as well in other reviews. The first number, 200 years, reflects something not seen at Hogwarts in particular. The second number, 150 years, is both true and false at the same time. To reveal a bit about that, only those that achieve full status are counted -- people that leave before swearing the final oath to be a full War Mage aren't counted. With regards to the rest, those that have become full War Mages, Dumbledore has told a half-truth. If it was a literal truth, there would be no War Mages at all other than Vencil. And with that clue, I'll move on to the next review now.
