Not everyone gets to read a daily prophet article and this was such a nice one to read too, has me grinning from ear to ear. |

I just wanted to let you know that someone has rec’d your story and I have posted a link to it in the new HP LJ community http://community.livejournal.com/hpmssgmoments, or Harry Potter Missing Moments, as well as its search site. Your story fits nicely into canon and makes a nice addition to our archives. Please feel free to come over and take a look at what we are doing and your entry (posted under "Nineteen Years"). We are a small group at the moment, but we hope to get your story some new readers and some new reviews as we grow. |

That was really cute. I would of never thought to write a wedding announcement but it was a really good idea. I like how they kept their lives private because Harry hates the spotlight. I guess he finally figured out how to hide things a little better. Good Job! |

I think being a high ranking ministry official may help keep the press away too. This time he has the government on his side. |

This is perfect, I can just see it in the prophet, all it needs are two moving archive pictures. |

Since my best drawing are in the forms of stickmen, although I'd love to see the pictures too, they are not something I can offer. |

"Betty Brathwaite" ?? Well ... she's that Prophet reporter who had written an article about Rita Skeeter and her upcoming book "Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore" (DH - Chapter 2:"In memoriam").
Sorry, Kathryn, I hope you're not by the comparison. I really meant it as a compliment, as the Prophet has since then greatly improved with "The Hero gets the Girl" see ...

Ah, I hadn't picked that up yet. Maybe another rereads in order, not that that is too much of a chore.

Don't worry, I know it was a compliment. |

Great article I dare say that this is WAY BETTER than Betty Braithwaite and "Her Lowness" Rita Skeeter herself
Seriously, I think you made a great job by pointing out the main facts and events of H & G's relationship, and the quotes from old friends are absolutery charming, Two words: LOVED IT |

hey kathryn!!
what a cool idea for a one-shot story!! I really enjoyed reading it , you've done a a wicked job!! Just one thing though...the dates for & seperation are wrong- HBP ends summer of 1996 (when Dunmbledore dies) DH ends 1997 so their seperation doesn't run from 1997 to 1998 but 96-97. sorry if that seems really picky of me!! JKR has just updated her website with Dumbledore as wizard of the month and it has dyear of birth and death on there.

It's very nice to think that this probably happened. (or will happen, depends on your point of view )
I hope more articles are soon to come...? The Prophet seems to be doing a much better job with its new writers than it did with Rita Skeeter.
Please write more!!!! |

I always look forward to the email that says that you have updated somethings as you are one of my favourite authors, mainly for two reasons, your pieces are alway exceptionally well written and they are usually unique. This piece did not let me down. It is another wonderful piece to add to your very fine collection. |

you could really write for a newspaper in reality! I know this should have been about Harry and Ginny but the best sentence:
"England were knocked out embarrassingly in the early stages with a 540 to 130 defeat by Austria."
I am from Austria! |

I'm English and love my sport but lets face fact we always underachieve and get knocked out too early, I doubt Quidditch is different. |

I have a silly smile on my face and this feels so right!
"Mr Potter asked for it to be kept private and I would prefer not to be hunted down by the head of the Auror Department and the founder of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes," said a rather nervous-looking assistant, who refused to give his name.
smart move - I wouldn't be saying anything either |

Strange to see a non-aggresive Prophet article about Harry, though I like the easy going tone and feel.
Add a byline for the author under the title to make it seem a little more real. Also, I believe that 'Eye witnesses' is one word.
Thanks for letting us enjoy this.

That's really cool! Nice to see the Prophet on Harry's side for once. And a very interesting angle to view their careers from. Ooh, do you think the Daily Prophet will do a write-up of their wedding? Hope so! |

Oh I think the Prophet will try, but I have a feeling they may not be too successful in getting any details. |
