i love this story - it is right up there with my favourite, maybe even my favourite of pieces I have written, so I am delighted that you feel that way about it.

That being said I feel that I told everything that I needed and wanted to in the story and have other ideas for different pieces so I will not be revisiting it.

I cried all the way through this story. I still can't believe that JKR killed off Fred. Thank you for writing and for sharing your work.

Good story. It's hard to imagine Harry finding the right way to comfort a girl, but I guess after all he's been through, he's learned some sensitivity. You illustrated that nicely.

I actually see Harry as one of the few people who could comfort Ginny over Fred's death.

Your such a great author. Maybe...you could make a chapter story about Ginny/Harry, and Rom and Hermione back a Hogwarts? That would be amazing.

I've just started penning in a ginny sixth year piece which should be ready for around christmas time, and that will take up my writing time.

This story was so absolutely positively amazingly awesome that I just... WOW! This gets the highest praise I can think you. It's so beautifully written! You captured Ginny so well and Harry's character is just as great. Ginny though... Her character was so PHENOMENALLY written! You captured every moment perfectly and the emotions were so intense... I admit it, I cried. Despereately. I miss Fred so much...

This is so wonderful. The dedication makes it so much more intense and.... ther are no words.

I love you. You are eternally in my favorites.

Thank you, I tried to make this piece go through the real emotions, and they are tough, I'm glad all of them came through.

What a wonderful story!
With "Fred was your big brother and nothing is going change that. Just like nothing can ever stop Sirius from being my godfather" I had reached for my first tissue. Then, "Celebrate Life" just made me empty the whole box
Bravo again

I really liked this story! It's so wonderful how Harry helped Ginny recover from all that emotional pain, and the "celebrate life" banner was so touching. Love the statue of Fred! I hope to see more of your stories in the future

Kathryn, this was amazing. You tell it so well - the tears, the grief, the happiness. And I love the part where Charlie still counts Fred - "the six of us to deal with".

Cheers.

Fred will aways be one of the Weasley brothers, no matter what happens and how old they get.

I don't think there is a need for a follow up here as the last thing I want to do is devalue this piece, but I'll think about it.

The Last Remnants of Pain
Oh Kathryn, I love the way you make us feel Ginny's pain and the reasons behind it. This reveals so much-

She gave a glimmer of a smile for the briefest of seconds.

"Fred bewitched some fireworks for me, and with the help of some Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder, I managed to spread a few Dumbledore's Army messages to nearly the whole school when Natalie had beaten Malfoy to the Snitch, and won us the match." She shrugged but her smile grew slightly, lighting up her whole face for an instant.

"For some reason, Snape took offence to the sparklers that spelled 'murderer'." Her eyes twinkled with mischief briefly as she spoke.

Harry knows her so well but even better after he realizes just how close she was to the twins-
"
George pulled her into the shop, a broad grin spreading across his face. Looking at them now, Harry was reminded of how much time Ginny had spent with her twin brothers. Ginny had spent so much time in Fred and George's company that summer at Grimmauld Place three years ago, and they could only have got closer when she tried to escape from Auntie Muriel during the time when they were in hiding together.
He'll be there to help her deal with the last remnants of pain.

This is a great tribute to Megan.

Wow what a review. Where do I start.

Harry knows her so well but even better after he realizes just how close she was to the twins-

I've got a feeling in DH no one knows Ginny as well as the twins, they saw all her up and downs in it.

He'll be there to help her deal with the last remnants of pain.

Thats all part of them being equals.

Well Ginny has been there for him, he's got to be there for her, its part of what makes them total equals.

I told you when I betaed it that I thought it was a good piece but really, I'm going to deviate from my previous statement and say that it really is one of your best pieces. And I'll say it again, you've grown so much as an author and it just gives me a lot of pleasure to say that.

*hugs* Great work on this piece, K.

As I said on the yahoo group, whether its my best piece or whether I will write better in the future, I think this is always going to be my favourite piece. But I am glad it is held so highly by others.
