Another wonderful chapter! I don't know what I can say that I haven't already said... The pacing and flow is perfect, the language is beautiful, and all your characters are consistent and well-developed. I am enjoying this story so much!!

I particularly liked the scene with Harry and Ginny visiting Andromeda and Teddy. Their dialogue was very sweet, and Harry's nervous naivety with a baby was adorable, and very endearing.
I thought the eulogies at the funeral were very well written. Touching, and full of emotion, without becoming over the top or sappy, and yet still delivered a strong message about humanity. I got chills when I read the sentence first describing the caskets - I was so in the moment. Somehow, you've so perfectly reflected my own experience in a similar situation... it just doesn't seem real until you see the coffin.

Perhaps the only thing that didn't quite sit right with me was Kingsley watching Snape's memories in the Pensieve. In my mind they're something very personal for Harry, and even though he's shared the contents with Ron and Hermione, it's something only for him to watch. That's just the way I interpreted it though...

Please have them all go back to school!
Love the story.

Will we hear about why Ginny blanched a bit about providing testamony against the Carrows? I believe Hermoine is not the only one to have experienced an unforgivible, but Ginny has kept mum about it so far.

Thanks for reviewing and for the kind words.

I'll let you guess as to whether they end up back at school. I can tell you I don't foresee this as a novel-length fic, but there are several more chapters to go.

As for your thoughts on Ginny... Hmmm... Do you have the Inner Eye?

Thank you for reading and taking the time to review. I've been swamped with other obligations and, I confess, a bout of laziness. But I'm back at work and hope to post something in the near future.

Thanks again for reading!

I finally had the time to sit and enjoy reading this chapter. I loved it. I wished I could be there to see baby Teddy, how adorable .
Also loved to see the family moving on with their lives, especially George.
You got the relationship between Harry and Ginny just perfect. It felt like reading canon.
Look forward to next chapter

You are so sweet! Kind words like yours really make me !

I'm very glad this chapter pleased you. I've been sidetracked recently on the next chapter, as I'm working on a home improvement project. But I've got everything plotted out. Now comes the hard part -

I'd better get a move on soon before some folks decide to start . Yikes!

Quite well done. I especially enjoyed Molly finding Harry & Ginny crashed together and Harry & Ginny's visit to Andromeda & Teddy (though I was slightly surprised that Andromeda wasn't provided with a name for Ginny).

The comments during the service were especially well-crafted, too.

If you're going to keep on writing chapters that good, please take all the time you want. :-)

Ooops! You're right, I forgot to have Harry actually introduce Ginny to Andromeda. My bad!

Thanks for your kind review, it means a lot to me. I'm working on the next chapter, and I hope to have it posted before too long.

Excellent chapter with many details. The women going "baby crazy" happens in Real Life. The men never quite "get it".

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks for another kind review.

Trust me, the baby fever bit was based on direct experience with my extended family.

An excellent fic to say the least. I just love little Teddy,s ability to happily change hair color to match whomever is cuddling him at the time or even smiling at him. Priceless. Most writers seemed to pick up on this theme. Brings some lightness to all the sadness.
Friday 28th September 2007 21:19Sunrise (Author Response)
You are too kind! I'm !

Yeah, I've noticed most of us doing any stories that mention Teddy have done something with the hair color changing. Rather than do the turqouise or hot pink, I simply decided to have him mimic whoever is holding him.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Ah, thank god you're writing more! This is so good! I have been checking every few days for the next installment of this and I'm so glad it's finally here!
Absolutley perfect, and although it's a bit sad that it will never be Harry, Ron and Hermione again without the whole couple thing, you've got Ginny settled in really well here. I guess they're four now - for good.
I cried loads though. But stories that make you cry are good stories, I think. Thanks.

Well thank you for the kind words.

I will tell you that I still cannot read the end of "Deathly Hallows" without . Silly I suppose, since we know it has a happy ending, but a testament to the power of JKR's writing talents.

Sorry about the delay between postings. I'm working on Part 4, and will try to get it to you a bit sooner.

I just wanted to say that I’m really enjoying reading this story.
The one thing I felt let The Deathly Hallows down was the ending as it never gave any grate detail into what happened after the final battle and I think you doing a grate job of filling those gaps and I’m looking forward to the next chapter.
Friday 28th September 2007 04:36Sunrise (Author Response)
Thanks for reading and for the nice review.

I'm enjoying picking up the story that JKR left us. This is merely my modest attempt to fill in some of those details.

Excellent chapter! I thought that all of the Harry and Ginny moments - especially the ones where Harry implied a future for them - were just adorable and I enjoyed every minute of it. And oh my god I love Ron Weasley! He's just so sweet and you write him wonderfully - insisting on going to Australia with Hermione is definitely something that he would do. The funeral for Remus and Tonks was so sad, but it paid tribute to their wonderful lives. I loved baby Teddy and I hope he and Andromeda will pull through.

I'm excited to see what George has up his sleeve for Fred's service - update soon!

Thank you for your kind words!

I'm trying to build the and relationship slowly. We all know where it's going to lead eventually, but I wanted the jouney to be realistic - and fun. As for , I've always felt he got just a bit shortchanged. I wanted to use this story to give him a chance to shine. And I've always had a soft spot for , bossy though she is.

As always, you managed to update this story at a time that makes it for me impossible to not read it, no matter it's past midnight and I'm too tired after a very long day at work and night at class, but, it was worth the staying awake (well, mostly awake, lol) to read this chapter. Excellent. Love the way you're portraying all the relationships. And, you made me cry again. Lovely tears.
Thursday 27th September 2007 04:41Sunrise (Author Response)
Well! I certainly don't want to be accused of causing readers to on the job. Go to bed when you need to. The story will always, hopefully, be here.

Seriously, thanks for reading and reviewing. I'm glad you're pleased with the way I've handled the relationships. That's always one of those areas that can get you into trouble.

Wonderfully done! Every time you update I know I'm going to have something fantastic to read. I'll be waiting patiently (but not TOO patiently!!!) for part 4! But seriously, it doesn't really matter how long it takes, as long as the end product is the way YOU want it to be...it is your story after all. But thanks so much for being kind enough to share it with all of us!

Beautiful, as always. I'm very impressed by your characterizations - everyone seems so perfectly IC. Love that you had Harry write Snape's name down on the list for an OM, and how conflicted he still was about it. I think it fit very well with Harry's personality.

One teeny flaw I spotted:
the mourners began to disburse.
I think "disperse" is more logical. Other than that, this chapter was brilliant.
Thursday 27th September 2007 04:32Sunrise (Author Response)
D'Oh! You're right, of course. The mourners would disperse, not be disbursed like paychecks.

Anyway, thanks for the kind review. I'm especially pleased that you feel I nailed the characters. That's something I'm always been nervous about when I write. And yes, I think has such a good heart that he would indeed nominate even the likes of for the Order of Merlin.

love this chapter, & the way Harry handled little teddy.

The speeches for lupin & tonks from Harry & Kingsley were perfect for them.

Kingsley would make a brilliant minster of magic and one that that has more sense & compasion than the others.

Btw i've already read Arnel's one
Wednesday 26th September 2007 16:23Sunrise (Author Response)
I appreciate the positive review!

I confess, I've always liked Kingsley. He's my second favorite Auror after , God rest his soul.

I am very fortunate to have Arnel as my beta. She's a wonderful writer, and does an excellent job of keeping me in canon. She's also good for finding Brit slang for the dialogue.

I was actually just thinking about your story as I was getting ready today and wondering when you would update. I'm so glad you did. I wanted to thank you for sharing the story of your grandmother with me. It really touched my heart and it actually inspired a one shot that should be up within the next week.

I always marvel at your work, you do tend to get better and better with each chapter you write. This was one of my favorite chapters. I loved the interaction between Andromeda and Harry, and I loved Harry's...presumptions. Ginny blushes so perfectly.

Anyway, great job, I absolutely loved it and I'm so excited for part four. Talk to you soon!

I marvel that anyone would have such nice things to say about my writing. Thank you so very much!

I'm glad I could share the story about my grandmother with you. The experience with her is one of the reasons I'm so fond of the ending of "Deathly Hallows." I'm really looking forward to reading your story once it's posted.

Again, thanks for the kind words.

I would not deign to believe that mine is the best, considering there are so many other fan fic writers with so much more experience. I'm not making up an original story with new spells, etc. I'm just piggybacking of JKR's work.

Anyway, I'm deeply touched by your kind words.

I will try to get the next installment posted sooner than I did this time.

Great as always! I really loved the way you made Harry 'act' like a parent, the funeral was also very good, the speeches were suitable for the honor Remus and Tonks deserve. Also, putting the Elder Wand back into Dumbledore's tomb seems like a good idea. Best chapter yet, keep'em coming!
Wednesday 26th September 2007 14:57Sunrise (Author Response)
You're too kind! And I will try to keep the output coming a bit more steadily. About a fifth of the next chapter is already written. Hopefully things will slow down a bit and give me more time to work on it.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.
