I don't mean to nitpick, but Harry was godfather to Teddy since Remus named him godfather. Not because they are dead. It's tradition in my family.
Rowling did say Andromeda raised Teddy as a mother. Some point Harry became a father figure to Teddy as well to other members of the Order like Arthur and Kingsley. But yeah, Harry did become some-what of a Guardian. |
