That was brilliant. I love connecting the small dots that JK left us with for the secondary characters.

Wow. I didn't think it was possible to give a really good HP Fan Fiction without HP in it. Goes to show. There are always good writers. Some just don't wish to make money out of it.
Great concept. Just loved it. Choice of words & structure is beyond par. I'm hunting for your other works now. Keep writing. Ciao.

Wow, this is really great. I like your concept of the minute out of each year. I like seeing how Seamus matures from year to year, too. Good work!

Thanks so much! It was good fun to think of the events through Seamus's eyes, as well as revisiting some old favourite scenes from the early books. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Very nice, most fan-fics focus on the four main characters. It's nice to read something from an alternate point of view. I congratulate you on a short story that seems to be well thought out, written, rewritten and edited.

Gosh, it's so nice to have all that work recognised - you're right, I do spend quite a bit of effort revising and editing until I'm happy. I'm glad you enjoyed Seamus's perspective - he's certainly not in the centre of the action, but he's close enough to have an interesting take on things. Thanks for your review.

This was great, and I can definitely agree with its selection as story of the week. Congratulations!

Woah, i just read all ur 7 short stories and loved every minute (hahaha)! Seamus is SO cool, and it was mint the way we saw him develop over 7 books, 7 minutes. I think you chose very well, as, of course, he's not just mentioned once in each book! Congratulations, this was lush! xx
Saturday 3rd November 2007 21:46A Whole Minute (Author Response)
Oooh, lush! That's lovely, thank you. I'm so glad you loved it. Seamus did turn out pretty well, didn't he - after being a bit of a loser for most of OotP, he managed to redeem himself. Thanks again for your review.

I'd just love your take on what happens to Seamus in the future, but that would require going wayyyy out of cannon.
Saturday 3rd November 2007 21:41A Whole Minute (Author Response)
Oh, I see - thanks for that! You're right, though, wayyyy out of canon, and therefore I'm afraid to tackle the topic! I have this fear of being "wrong" in making any guesses, which is silly really, seeing that's what fan fiction is for. But I'll let it simmer in the back of my mind and ... who knows ...

A wonderful view of the seven year adventure through Seamus's eyes! I love his progression hereā€”the scene with his mother is lovely, and the battle scene incredibly exciting. Even if I knew how it ended.

Though I did wish we'd seen what happened to Lavender after Greyback attacked her! Ah well. Yet another point of view to explore!
Friday 2nd November 2007 00:01A Whole Minute (Author Response)
Ah yes, well there's one loose end that could be tied up - what happens to Lavender? and does it have anything to do with Seamus? - I'm not sure yet if I'll be the one to do that ...

Thanks for your review - I'm glad you enjoyed it - and I did have fun writing the shouting match - it was good to inhabit the teenage mind again!

Oh goodness, you're very kind. You're not the first to ask for more, but I'd be interested to know what particularly you'd like more of. I find it hard to imagine because I write everything based so much in canon (only because my own imagination is so deficient!). Anyway, thank for your lovely reviews. I think every writer would like to leave the readers wanting more - so I'm proud to have achieved that.

That was an excellent read! I particularly loved the 6th year (:lol
and 7th year ( ..Go Seamus!) chapters; it's true: Life is Worth Living...even if it's not fun at times!

Great work!

Thank you so much! What a good summary of the story! I have to admit, I enjoyed the Sixth Year chapter as well, as it reminded me of countless similar 'discussions' with my mother! (Thankfully, we get on much better now!)

No chance of an epilogue?

I love reading stories like these. You did a wonderful job!
Thursday 1st November 2007 17:40A Whole Minute (Author Response)
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm not sure about an epilogue though - while I'm touched by the request, this one is firmly rooted in canon, so without a minute from the book to use, my imagination's at a loss. But I am curious as to what kind of moment you'd like to see in an epilogue ...

i also loved this, but it would be so nice if you could do something similar from another perspective, preferably not a main character. I simply love unusual perspectives in fanfic, it always brings something new if it's written well, like this fic.

Thank you for your kind comments. It's encouraging to know that people like to read the kind of things I like to write. I hope I will write some more, but I depend greatly on inspiration and it doesn't strike all that often! Thanks again for your review.

Great job - really, really good in fact. I loved the spell for copying their student records - that was an especially nice touch. And I liked the way you really captured Seamus' personality.

He's one cool guy!

Ooh, that's so good that he came across as cool (since I am distinctly uncool I take that as a great achievement! Thanks for your lovely review - I've been so immersed in this little fic for so long that it's great to finally share it with people.

That was FANTASTIC!! It was a really good POV and Recap!

Thank you... (You probably wouldn't want to write one about Draco or Snape??)

Thank you so much! I'm delighted that you enjoyed it so much. I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be doing any abuot Draco or Snape in a hurry! I'm sure I wouldn't do them justice at all!
