Hey J, just read this for the ubpteenth time. I enjoyed it as much this time as I did at the first reading. I must confess that I scrolled quickly past some scenes, but only a few. I could almost hold a story time at the library and hardly miss a beat. Great fic.

This is officially my favourtie fanfiction I\\\'ve ever read. Me and my sister keep reading it over and over again! Jeconais - You have really captured to essence of some of the main characters and made a story which J.K Rowling would almost certainly be proud of! Thank you for the hours of amazingness (no it isn\\\'t a real word) and the work you\\\'ve obviously put into you writing. - Loonylucy x

To whoever wrote this: thank you. You have manageed to improve one of the best stories of all time, while also staying true to it. I grew up with Harry Potter, and this is like a more grown-up version of it, which made me want to rekindle my obsession. It took me three days to read this, and I did absolutely nothing but. I believe that J.K. Rowling would be proud of this work as you clearly have read the actual Harry Potter books. You truly are a great author and I only wish that you could write more of your amazing work.

This was a great story. It was an interesting take on Harry's personality, completely changing him. I rather like the alternate personality. The Mmails were quite humours. Good choice Thanks for the entertainment!

this is my third time reading this story and it is still as good as the first time, if not better. I have been searching for other stories to read that match up to this one's, but so far i have been unsuccessful. I am also a huge fan of your story "Chances"

Oh My God, it was absolutly amazing. In ways i enjoyed how you ended it more then the actual book, but then again it could be that im a sucker for a happy ending and liked that none of the good guys died. I also loved the relationship between ginny and harry, how you showed their love for each other through gentle touches and her sitting on his lap. I hope to write one day and would like to know if there are and tips or practice techniques you could tell me.

I have to say in the 100+ fanfictions I have read recently. This is in my top five easily. It has a little bit of everything: fluff, romance, adventure, suspence, mystery, drama, and a hell of a lot of fun comedy, farce, and spoofing going on. It started out as a lot of fun, but I just couldn't stop reading. Thanks for a laugh and a great ride.

Since you are on staff, or managemrnt or whatever, what gives with PS requiring me to log in every time I go to PS. I can,t get through to a staff person so maybe you can pass the problem along. I have just re-read this for the umpteenth time and the first few chapters are still my favorite, especially the first one. Best comedy fic I have ever read. Jeanne.

I'm disappointed that there will be no sequel to this story, it was well written and very fun to read. I loved the Mmail format you used, the fact that you explained it also, was nice. I think a sequel would be interesting, but i feel like you might have a point. It's very visible that your writting style has changed in all these 235 thousand words. I loved your style at the begining and i loved the ending just as much. The story ran smoothly despite the time lapses in posts. I'm glad i read this after you were finished, i tend to forget about wip's and never return, even if i love them. I'm going to check out your other works too, i hope that there are some that are my style. Great story, i'll say it again, Great story.

This Means War!
I loved it! Earlier, middle and new parts all combined I loved it! It was funny and romantic and clever and dramatic and really showed how moral and just and united everyone could be. Harry was a bit of a bossy prick at times but I loved him for it. The beginning was the truly funny part, with all the crazy Mmails and the Weasleys trying to break up Harry and Ginny. It got a bit more serious after that, but it was still fun to read. This is such a long story and obviously took you a long time to write - you should be so proud of yourself. You've created an amazing piece of fiction and I love it!! Well done - it's bloody brilliant!

Wow. I just read this whole story (book?) over a two day period (and I had to work all day today). What a fabulous ride. I am amazed by how much of your life (in YEARS) you spent on this, and grateful that you did. I really enjoyed it - the humor, the romance, the super-powered Harry (which is normally not my favorite kind of Harry), the inter-house unity (which I expected JFR to do more of and with), and especially the generally upbeat, positive slant. Life can be a real b*%#@ and we all need something happy and uplifting from time to time ... or every day!

Really great writing - I enjoy your style and your overall good grammar (I'm a stickler for things like that!) Now I will have to read the rest of your stuff! Yay!

This Means War!

Jeconais: You,ve heard from me before. I have just finished reading TMW, for the fourth time, maybe fifth. I haven,t kept count. I love to read, and when I become sick at some of the drivel and repetition in the majority of the fics, especially the challenge ones, I divert myself to TMW, and prepare for massive entertainment. Ginny,s prank on Sirius, re: his possible neutering, the butterbeer caper, and the list goes on. This is by far the best fic ever written on any site. It encompasses every facet of reading enjoyment. Comedy, drama, high morals and idealism. You have done a marvelous job on this story. Thank you so very much. At nearly 76, and a good doctor, I am sure I shall enjoy reading this fic a time or two again. Very sincerely , Jeanne.

Just finished what was a well written and all action story. It was a little too sweet in some places where everybody is perfect, but then I am a grumpy old man. BUT the humour had me laughing my socks off.

Some of the Mmails made me laugh out load and at one stage I fell out of my chair. No damage done, so I will not be instigating legal action.

It doesn't matter how many times that I read this story, I always fall off my chair laughing. It is so hialrious that I can't even describe my favorite part, the whole thing is my favorite part!

But I have to say that I found that I liked Harrys character was acting more care free and leader like. It showed that you can still be a kid and have the weight of the world on your shoulders.

WOW!!! I should have you banning me from the site for a week or so, since i\'ve got a BIG exam in less than two days and i seem to think that reading your work is a much better use of my time!! Not saying it isn\'t, though...
But, since i have now finished TMW, i\'ll carefully extract myself from your claws ( i\'m sure one of your animagi forms would be the hawk) before i start reading something else...
So, i\'m going to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on a job done not well but EXQUISITELY!!!
Thank you for this and i\'ll be back right after my exam to start reading everything else you\'ve written!
All my best wishes and hopes that you are well and enjoying the \"happy ever-after\" as Ginny, Harry ald the whole lot of them surely are!

I had read up to part 9 some time ago, possibly years, when that was all that had been written and it looked as if the story had been abandoned. Today, I rediscovered your wonderful tale via a completely unrelated google search (I think I was looking for an animated short) and was immensely pleased to find that it had been not only updated, but finished!

And so I will say it as briefly and as simply as I can: Thank you, it was amazing.

I loved this story! It was really light-hearted, and no-one died and harry was this almost god-like being. I wouldn't like every story to be like this, but it was really fun for this one. One thing though is that everyone seems to almost ignore in fan-fiction, despite the fact that he was really important in all J.K.R.'s books up til the last one. But definetely this story has earned its place in the top 10.

the power of an idea is greater than all the magic in the world. That is probably one of the most powerful and real statements in all of this story and this is the third time I've read it from start to finish in four days. We tend to forget the power of our own thoughts and how much they unconsciously influence our actions, reactions, and how the rest of the world views us. The idea that Harry is propagating part of the vision that revolutionized the sixties - that all are equal - one that still has not been met and too much of the time is shattered even further by war, segregation, bigotry, and unthinking attitudes. This story has helped me crystalize what my therapist has been telling me for the last couple of years. Thank you

Sorry for not reviewing for the other chapters, i wanted to finish the whole thing first before i did. This fic was really great and it had me laughing alot

I loved how everything and everyone came together for the final battle, It was nice for a change that Snape was such a nice guy & Fudge being arrested. My only wishes were that i got to see harry when he was transported to the great hall in his towel the Quidditch match & the dragons which i love btw.

Ialso loved everyone working together from the different houses, that was great.

I'm a late comer to this story but enjoyed it. It was certainly ambitious. I commend you for sticking with it and finishing it-what a commitment. I very much enjoyed the humor and while the stor y finished in a way and with a tone that I would not have anticipated at the beginning...you kept me reading right on through.
I will say thfat the whole on their knees swearing fealty to Harry was a little too much for me, but what the heck!

Congrats on completing the story. Thank you for sharing your vision.

Well! That was nothing short of amazing!

Despite your misgivings, I rather enjoyed it. I confess that thinking of Harry as a disciple of Norman Vincent Peale (or Robert Schuller) doesn't have all that much appeal to me per se, but then, as long as no one involved actually tells Harry about them, he needn't know, right? :-)

And besides, some of the things in the story (e.g., Mmail -- though I may be biased on that score) were rather inspired.

So: thank you for finishing the story, and for sharing it publicly in the first place.

........ lost for words. You missed a category out of your list of how people feel about TMW: some people absolutely love it in a slightly crazed and manic way that interferes with their lives and makes them sit for hours on end on a very hard chair in front of the computer. That would be me. I have to admit to squealing and doing a rather embarrassing little jig in my chair (said very hard and uncomfortable one) when I got the email update for this chapter. I think you are rather too hard on yourself regarding the earlier chapters as I thought they were great and I would not have kept reading if I hadn't!! Not wishing to push you to write a sequel or anything as I did read the ANs but if you ever do decide to write anything else just wanted you to know that you will have at least one avid reader. I usually litter my reviews with emoticons but I was just too excited this time so am putting them all at the end.
Thanks for all your hard work!

Hell yes!!!! That\'s got to be the most kick- final battle scene EVER! You had me cracking up (at midnight, too!) with the Monty Python References. And I loved the dragons. I must say, the m-mails are probably the most brilliant thing in the HP fan-fiction world. I find it amusing to no end and I absolutly loved this story!
