What struck me in this chapter was the bit about Harry and Ginny looking into each other's eyes. Also that Harry was sulking about not getting all her attention. It fits in nicely with what we know of Harry in HBP, that he thought the weeks he spent with Ginny were too good to be true, and that he knew it would have to end....

| When I first read the tickling scene my gut reaction was that Harry was completely out of character. However, the more I thought about it I came to realize that canon gives us virtually no details of these few weeks of Harry and Ginny dating. We've never seen happy, carefree, 'in-love' Harry (Cho just doesn't count!) so we have no idea how he might act. I think you've presented us with an entirely possible scenario of what Harry would be like if he gave himself permission to indulge himself and just kick back and enjoy life for a while. Beautifully done! |
