Fred would be happy. As long as people still unknowingly turned into Canaries, he'll always be happy

Ginny, if I had stopped to talk to you, I never would have been able to do what I absolutely had to do.

Now this is exactly right - I really appreciated this coming out in their conversation. I liked how Ginny was ambiguous about feeling sad for her losses and happy for the ones she hasn't lost. The scene at the beginning was very sweet and gentle - I feel much more in tune with that.
But it didn't work. He didn't kill you.

I'm curious that Harry didn't correct Ginny on this point - I wonder if they'll ever discuss his afterlife experience - it seemed glossed over in this scene.

Harry taking care of her so well when she was sick was perfect ... some people are able to do that and others are not - and some can only stand to do it for those they love most. I think your Harry is a bit of the first type and a lot of the last.

I'm glad to see their love breaking through the barriers that have been raised. And I enjoyed the segment with Percy, Bill, and Arthur at the end - I hope to see more of your Percy ... I think he seems to have some depth.

My one nitpick for this chapter (I think I like this story so much that I cannot stand to see anything imperfect in it! ) - eyes may sparkle with mirth and laughter, with joy, with tears, with mischief. They sparkle over many things but not devotion and yearning. I'd go for glowed, or shone, or maybe even gleamed - though that would be stretching it.

Yay - more to read!

Thank goodness Harry and Ginny has started to work things out between them. I am so glad Harry wasn't turned away by Ginny being sick or having a running nose. It is great that Arthur and Percy have seen a glimpse of the future in Harry and Ginny and also Bill and Fleur. It says a lot for their character. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. p

A special moment. He held her hair! wait till the morning sickness comes in the future. Will he hold her hair then, or run like a rabbit? (my husband preferred to run!)
loved this chapter, Percy was so right in what he said to his father at the end. It is the perfect way to describe this story.
well done!

Currently open on my desktop is Chapter 14 (entitled "The News That Truly Shocks..."), so yes, there will be more. If the plan holds, we'll be adding three chapters at a time with each update.

I've got a wonderful beta, and she's working as quickly as she can to keep up with me. Please bear with us.

this was beautiful, so well thought out and written... I found it so emotional, it completed things that had been left unsaid in DH.

Thanks for posting I look forward to your update soon

your writing is good, but the overall feeling i have from this story is overly emotional, so much so that it doesn't feel real. I've read quite a few stories that make the mistake of describing some highly emotional scenes without having the basis for it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, regardless of how mistaken they are.

Even you.

Have fun!
