I think this is rather a good "missing" moment from the gap in time between the last two chapters. It fits, it sounds like them and the feel is glorious. Not a moment I had imagined, but I can feel the love.

aww ww!!! This was soo oo cute!!! I loved it!! Awesome story of Harry and Ginny just after the birth of their first child! It was described perfectly!
Somehow, his idle teenaged daydreams had become a reality -- he had a family. He was married to the most fantastic woman in the world, he was a dad, and it was all thanks to a spur-of-the-moment kiss in the Gryffindor Common Room.
loved the ending
this reminded me of the song, mr. brightside by the killers. at least the title did and some lines :p

Well said. A friend of mine described his first view of his first child as "the universe suddenly shifted, and now he was at the center of it." Becoming a parent definately takes you into a new world, in more ways than one.
This was a lovely, heartfelt story that resisted the temptation to sink into too cutesy or too emotional. Well done. |

Awww, sniffle. This was wonderful. I really enjoyed it, and I'm so delighted Harry finally got his family. I particularly liked the little bit where he asked Ron and Hermione to be godparents - just in case. It was so him, and I don't think he'll ever completel lose that fear, but he's obviously made such a nice life for himself.

| Very sweet story. The best part was seeing how much love there is in the family. I especially like that it was all traced back to that kiss. I have read a bunch of fics that propose the idea that the child is loved more than the spouse. I didn't get the feeling here, which was nice. |
