A different, but interesting take on how it panned out after the battle, and from what I've read so far looks to be very promising!

Hmmm... looks like this is going to be an interesting one! You've certainly got my attention...

I like the way you've mixed the present setting with flashbacks. Good way to develop the story, and it's done well enough to not be confusing.

I'm looking forward to reading more : )

Thank you. I was worried that folks wouldn't like this story, since it's my first. The encouragement has been wonderful.

It's already motivating me to start thinking of new plot lines and stories

Lost in Transfiguration
great first chapter! I already hate Ginny, lol.
Friday 23rd May 2008 20:44Lost in Transfiguration (Author Response)
I can understand that. Ginny doesn't come out in the best light, especially in these early chapters.

Don't hate her too much though, I need her in the end to make it H/G

very nice beginning ... you've caught my interest. it's all a bit too angsty for my usual taste, but i think i'm going to have to keep reading
Saturday 17th May 2008 09:31Lost in Transfiguration (Author Response)
hhmmm, to angsty eh? Thats too bad, because I'm afraid it just gets worse before it gets better.

I also think you to keep reading. Hold on a sec.

WOW! I havent read a story like this in a long time! I love this, especially that Taylor is giving testing the potion! I cant wait to see what harry does when he finds out! Thanks so much and update soon please!

P.S The last story I read that was kinda like this was The Test of Time on Sugarquill, but I can tell this is going to be completely different and better! Great Job!

don't think they would behave this way. Anyway nice story, at least the start of it.
Saturday 17th May 2008 09:26Lost in Transfiguration (Author Response)
I respect that. It took some thinking to write this story because everyone in Cannon is so supportive of Harry.

I guess the only thing I can say is that grief and stress make people do strange things, even people that are normally rock solid.

Please keep reading, and perhaps I'll even change your mind!

thanks for the review, it is appreciated

Ow. Poor Guys, Poor Harry. I Don't suppose I can fly into the story and play God to torture everyone a bit more before making it all right? wait, you are going to make it right arent you/

That was really good and I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!! Looks like we're in the same boat - My first fic, Lopsided, was posted a few days ago and Moments has just gone up! Arnel's my beta, too, lol! B

Hey! Ya Arnel is great! By the way, I read Lopsided and I really enjoyed it. I'm not good at reviewing, I'll try to go better.

Right now I'm on my way to read Moments! Cheers.

Lost in Transfiguration
I enjoyed that first chapter.

"Ron, Hermione, Ginny, George, Arthur! Breakfast is ready."
In all stories, not just yours, Molly, or whoever always gets the names right. My wife and I can't even get the cat's names right. I remember Mom couldn't get us kids names right. She'd always be doing two or three things and then try and call us. Anyway, your line brought back pleasent memories.
Saturday 17th May 2008 09:16Lost in Transfiguration (Author Response)
Thanks for the review. I agree with you, but even in JK's work Molly gets it right most of the time (with the occasional Fred and George Bit). I'm glad that it helped bring back good memories though. When I'm reading other work, I love stories that can connect with me. Thanks again.

Good start! I'm looking forward to seeing more thoughts from all the characters--their reasons for their actions, and the actions themselves--soon!

Wow! I go away on a business trip for a few days and look at the reviews! Thanks every one!

I hope I can explain their actions better in later chapters. I'll update soon, I promise. Thanks for reviewing!

I like the flashback way that you're telling your story. I can't actually imagine Ron, Hermione, and Ginny being so cruel to Harry after what he's been through, even if they were grief-stricken, but it's an interesting plot bunny. I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this.
Wednesday 14th May 2008 16:36Lost in Transfiguration (Author Response)
The first chapter does jump around a bit. Later on it will settle down into more of a story mode.

I try to explain a little more about what happened and why in later chapters, but it is a little bit of a stretch, I know.

Thank you for reading, its appreciated!
