You know, I've read few fanfics on various sites and when the matter of & appears, it seems that the majority of them seem to sense that no matter what happens in their lives that they were fated to be together but I like the slant you've taken on it.
You've shown Ginny in a really mature light in the way she's handling the problem with Harry's memory, and I personally think that she's doing it in the right way! |

| I'll admit, one of the premises of this story is that they belong together. More than one reader has questioned that as well. I think it would be hard for me to write any other way though |

yes! found at last. you had me shaking in my sneekers when ginny called him by his full name. thought for sure , the jig was up then & there. Have a nice two weeks, we will all miss you. P.S. I'm not sure it would be a good idea for Molly to see who ginny is living with just yet either, if anyone from the family should have to meet him, I think it should be her father. He might stand a better chance of explaning what is going on to her first, that way they could come up with their own plan of attack for a visit to the Burrow.

Great chapter. Loved how Ginny jumped in there as Harry's new room mate.
Like Enchantedgurls said, I wasn't too keen about a story where the Weasley's turned their backs on Harry but grief will make us do the unthinkable.
Anyway, great job, I'm hooked. I like how Ginny, Harry and Co. are still themselves. |

It's great that Harry is still so much himself, that his essence is exactly the same. Wonderful plot twist - I can't wait for more!

One of the things that drew me to the Harry Potter stories was the underlying character of Harry as shown through his actions and thoughts during the entire series. He is truly a hero, and it comes from somewhere inside that he is not even aware of. I really wanted to tap into that for my first story.

| When I first started reading this fic I wasn't sure how I'd like it with Harry deliberately getting away from the people he loves to live a new life and forget everything that happened to him. I also wasn't so sure if I liked the reaction of the Weasleys with not accepting him right away after Fred died. However, I think it makes sense and no one has been out of character. As I continued reading I began to really love the premise of the story! It is so interesting now and Harry and Ginny dating with Harry not remembering their past is such an intriguing idea. I really can't wait to see what's going to happen and sincerely can't wait for an update! Wonderful job so far! |

I think some of this has been answered by the next chapter, but I'll try to clear up some confusion if I can.
She knows that something is wrong when Harry doesn't remember her, later on she realizes what it is (he erased his memory) and enlists Hermione to try and help restore it. In the meantime, she is aware of the terms on which they parted and is unsure how to go forward.

It was a very bold move. However, I always got the feeling that Ginny's the type of person who acts on her emotions and doesn't hold back alot. I always wished we saw more of her in cannon then we actually did. Thanks for commenting, more updates are coming soon.
