“Great Scott, Potter, This is War!”
Oh, wow. I just reread this and remembered why I love this story. Everything you tell, whether it's deep Wizarding history, political battles, action scenes, human-goblin relations, magical theory, hyperhormonal Paladins, or budding romance... it's all brilliant, well thought-out, and captivating. I'll only say that I wish the chapters came more often, but since that wish results from your work being remarkable, I'd say you have very little to worry about. Cheers.

This was such a great chapter! I feel like I say the same things every time, but I mean them every time I say them. I love how much detail you put into your stories. I know some people don't like when things are too wordy (take Tolkien for example), but I don't mind it at all. Keep up the great work!

I like this story. It reminds me of Echoes of Power in that it is well thought out and slow going, but unlike Echoes, you haven't written 300,000 words and only managed to get through two weeks.

Any guess on how many more chapters till they arrive at Hogwarts?

“Great Scott, Potter, This is War!”
Wow. I just read all of this is in the last oh, 30 of 48 hours, and I really can't find the words to tell you how I much I love this piece of fan fiction. If I put down every element of my favorite fictions in a list, and I somehow magically condensed it into a fic (in a manner similar to Harry taking all the elements of his paper out of his head and synthesizing them into a coherent argument) I could not have even hoped for the astounding piece of deliciously imaginative writing. Seriously, here's the bits I love--in no particular order:
1. Wizarding World History (and American, too! YAY!)
2. Powerful!Harry
3. Benevolently Manipulative Dumbledore
4. Harry/Dumbledore Alliance
5. VAMPIRES!!
6. Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione. Bonus points for Luna+a Weasley Twin (that's my guess, anyways)
7. Willen the Olve Hander's entire universe/time period
8. Cultural Anthropology and Name History
9. Political Harry + Wizarding Goverment/Political Machinations
10. Loathsome Fudge getting his comeuppance
11. Wizarding Business World and Entrepreneur Harry (in spades!)
12. Sentient Species Involvement and History
a. Goblin/Gringotts History/Customs
b. House elf psychology
c. Did I mention VAMPIRES?!
13. Spell Invention (and creating a new "science" for it--BRAVO!)
14. Combining Magical and Muggle Science (I

phew! that took me over an hour to read, but that moves the story along nicely, can't wait for the next chapter. I really enjoyed the way you twisted the old wizarding families together in America

I liked this chapter, alot. It was a fun history lesson on how the weasley's became poor & came to own the Burrow etc... that must have taken some time for you to modify history like that. I also liked the end where you had Hermione slam Ron into a wall to keep his mouth shut. that should happen more often to him. A restaurant & club does sound like an interesting hobby for Harry. And I agree with Ginny, that Harry does seem to be trusting her with alot more. that can only be a good thing. I'm impressed. great job. I give this story 5 stars *****!

“Great Scott, Potter, This is War!”
This is a briliant story. I love how grownup Harry has become and I love his budding friendship with Ginny although I do hope Harry throws his I won't get involved with anyone because of the war aside. Even if he didn't make it, know one should miss out on being in a loving, or caring relationship. I love how you've made Harry involved in politics without making him be a rich snob, and I love his interactions with the Goblins. Update soon please, I can't wait to read more.

Well, I've been waiting for more chapters, so the next chapter will be what I have been waiting for.
Also, I am waiting for Harry to take his head out of his and look at the girls near him.
Also, I am waiting for Moldie to be severely hit if not killed by some cobbled spell of Harry's.
Do you think that Harry is just a little too good at cobbling spells? No complain, any time Harry's life is made better or easier, I'm all for it.

I liked the history of the Weasleys. All of your stories have been, definitely a different twist on what everyone else is writing about. Can't wait for the next installment. Don't make it so long a wait this time!

Waited for this chapter and it was an interesting history lesson, but a bit short of -in your face- action. Still very original writing, so keep at it.

“Great Scott, Potter, This is War!”

Good chapter. Specially the history part was very well written. Hope there is some way to actually prove that the Malfoys & Fudges illegally acquired the Weasleys' land and money.
Look forward to the next update.

Great chapter here. I love this story and really thirsting for more.

Only thing wrong I see is that when talking about Johnnie Jonas; was spelled both Johnnie and Johnny. Probably not a big deal as this is one awesome story.

“Great Scott, Potter, This is War!”
I really enjoyed the first couple of chapters of this story, and I thought it was a fascinating and original concept. But after a while all of the long and often times over-explained asides to explore the 333 families, the wizarding world economy, and now the history of the Weasley family have just killed whatever plot momentum you had built up.

In this latest chapter, which was of considerable length, almost nothing moves forward in the primary plotline, beyond H and G's sorta-date. IMHO, your main focus should return to the events of the main plotline ASAP and if you still feel the need to digress about all this backstory, then do so with seperate, linked one-offs in the This Means War verse. This will allow the reqader to delve deeper into the extraneous plot devices you have constructed if they wish, or also allow them to skip it and continue to enjoy the main thread of your story.
