Again... hhhhhhmmmmmmm...... this is a very interesting alternative history.
First of all, I look forward to seeing where this is going, because the bond seems to be part of some very interesting problems at the moment.
I think the way you've pulled everythng together and re-arranged certain details makes this a very compelling read. However, it just feels really out of character for everyone. I am enjoying it, it just feels like I'm reading about new characters, not the Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny we're all used to... |

You know, I have to stop being so hard on Ginny. She is going through puberty for two people, not and easy thing, and the problems she is having are not of her own creation.
Yes, things are going bad for Harry but Ginny is not the cause, she is as much a victtim as he is so I will try to be nicer to her... at least in this story.

| Glad to see that you're limiting your cross story bias. I know I tend to not write Ginny in the best of light, but I think this story will fix some of that. |

Oh no! One misunderstanding after another. I suppose Harry's issue are blocking any feelings from Ginny or maybe Ginny's are compounding his feelings and he just doesn't understand it's happening.
Poor Ginny just couldn't get a break. And now Dean probably will get the wrong idea too! Hope you have us waiting too long for the next part. Mercy! What a mess!

| I've actually been sneaking time at work to work on the next chapter (shhhh). Hopefully it will be out soon. I think you hit the nail on the head quite squarely. There is so much emotion flying around at this point, I think it would be hard for anyone to get their head around, bond or no bond. |

Interesting, Ginny spends a year knowing she is hurting Harry in order to "find herself" then when Harry gets kicked a llittle harder by life and sinking a bit lower, she chooses to go back to him. I'll admit I understand absolutely zero about women and this confirms it.
Given that she now is ready to help Harry grow stronger, as he needs to be, fate once again decides to kick him in the bullocks and ruins everything.
Vintage HP, Nothing works out for Harry and destiny seems to enjoy making him miserable. Let us hope that once he chooses to take action rather than allowing himself to be victimized things will get better for the both of them.

LOL, Hey BJH, glad to see that you're still sticking with me. I don't claim to have any understanding of women either so I think we are both in the same boat there
Harry does seem to have runs of bad luck in the HP universe. Unlike my other story though, in this one Harry is much stronger and takes things into his own hands...very soon! |

No no no! Ginny laughed at the idea of dating Dean. I think the bond has pretty much ruined her for anyone but Harry. She just needs to get him to sit down long enough to explain.
