Thus, four teenagers with little cooking experience ended up making breakfast.

Harry has lots of experience making breakfast. He did it for the Dursleys for all those years.

I got a feeling that this story will not be long enough for me. I'm looking at something at least the length of DH?

I love your writing style, the way in which you portray all the relevant emotions required for each scene. I also like the flashbacks and how you effortlessly seem to incorporate them not only in the chapter but also ensure that they are written in such a way that they woudn't have looked out of place in the books, where the scene would have taken place!

The scene with Narcissa & Andromeda was a nice touch!

Once again well done!

A very dramatic yet dignified funeral. Well written.

I don't know - I'm on Andromeda's side in this one. What Narcissa did for Harry is beside the point to her sister. They weren't close, Narcissa was part of the group that took Andromeda's family from her. In time, they might indeed work out their differences, but I think appearing at the funeral while Andromeda grieves is in extremely poor taste. I'm glad Andromeda lets her have it - I would too - plus it makes for wonderful drama.

Narcissa is trying to make up for her past misdeeds, but doesn't know how to go around doing it. Thus, ugly scenes like this occur. Andromeda's thoughts on this will show up later in the story, so keep reading.

This is an excellent chapter. I'm glad Hermione found out about Harry's bruise from the Avada Kedavra. At least she was able to help some. I don't know why Harry is concealing it from Ginny. Probably because he doesn't want her to worry about him with everything else that is going on. That was nice of him to thank Narcissa. I feel sorry for Andromeda. Harry is right she has lost almost everyone she loves. Thanks for writing. I like the way you are handling this "after" the battle story. p
