You have Snape written perfectly. I also like the mirroring of the detention to Harry's when he rewrote all his father's misdemeanours. It is effective - more so then a physical punishment because this cuts right into Ginny's emotions. Snape has also managed to keep Ginny safe and at the moment I think she needs all the help she can get.

| Oh getting Ginny punished but not punished has been very hard throughout this fic - he doesn't manage to be as successful in the later chapters. |

I've been wanting to read a chaptered story about the Hogwarts rebellion, yet despite seeing this on PS from when you started it, I've never got into it. Just starting to read now tho, and it's fab!
is fantastic, I love the way you've ensured she's hurting and rash, yet stubborn and a proud too.
Neville is great, I love how he's taking care of Ginny and asked to be her older brother, so cute
I'm so glad and get together in the end, she deserves it after the pain of a year of hell without him.
Going on to read the next few chapters now, looking forward to the rest of this story B |

Good job Mate! I have family visiting this weekend (the grandboys sleep on the sofa bed in my study with my computer) so will have to read a couple of chapters a day after they leave on Monday.
I am glad I waited to read your version of Ginny's Sixth year. As I mentioned earlier, Potterwatch is never heard at Hogwarts in my universe. Another difference I picked up between our versions is that the Cattermole family sees the YouTube version of the Battle of Hogwarts and returns to the wizarding world in January of Ginny's Seventh Year.

I am glad I waited to read your version of Ginny's Sixth year. As I mentioned earlier, Potterwatch is never heard at Hogwarts in my universe. Another difference I picked up between our versions is that the Cattermole family sees the YouTube version of the Battle of Hogwarts and returns to the wizarding world in January of Ginny's Seventh Year.
I wanted to show the cruel realities of war and offing the Cattermole as well as a few other characters later in the piece (no one is safe at the Battle of Hogwarts - useless he know in cannon that they survived) does that nicely. |

Great, great Ginny! She learns so fast and she's realy getting smarter here!
Oh, and did we really get a glimpse of Snape the good? A very clever way to protect Ginny, and that attempt to catch her eyes? Hm, and the lusty Amycus, it shows not only how sick the Death Eaters are, it's also a nice hint how beautiful, and sexy, Ginny is.
I especially loved the kids listening to Potterwatch, mainly the line about the end of their childhood and Ginny's emotions. On the other hand, I missed hearing about the trio's 'trip' to the Ministry and I was so saddened by the news about the Cattermoles - the trio had risked so much to save them and was it in vain?

Sorry for the late reply, I've had a pretty hectic week.
Oh, and thanks for having Neville play such an important role. I always knew he'd be important and he provides great emotional support for Ginny.
Ginny needs someone like that, and both Neville and Luna will play their role with that. Luna got some great support lines coming up in chapter seven.

You've captured Ginny so well in this: Snape's punishment was very creative and I am really enjoying this. I am sure that I have said this before, but I do feel as if Ginny was ignored in the Seventh Book and so am overjoyed that she's getting recognition for her role in the War.

Snape's punishment was very creative
Snape is an interesting character - we know that he is working on the side of good and trying to protect the students the best he could, but none of the other characters know that - so a bit of creativity is called for. |

I just love this. I get shivers down my spine reading it. You are literally writing what I felt was happening while was gone. Sure he could look at that map and know was alive, but she wasn't really living like he imagined or had deluded himself into believing.
I love how everyone is working together and how strong and confident Neville is. I find confidence- not to be confused with arrogence- so sexy! Go, Nev! Was Hannah a pureblood? I can't remember. Might be time soon to show a little Hannah drooling over some Nev! Just a thought!

Hannah's a half blood - i just double checked, so she would have been there. She will be in the fiction, however with her being neither a sixth year or Gryffindor, its hard to fit her in scenes with Ginny. |
