| Love Luna in this chapter. Her stuff with the crucio was inspired, pity it did not work. Ginny would really be lost without her and Neville. Oh but the quidditch stuff was even better and the firework a great idea, but the bad news to Ginny, it seems that she has really pissed off snape. |

Loving Ginny in this, she's so strong and feisty, you've captured her exactly how she should be!
This line made me laugh:
"I'm on the right side here, the good guys so to speak," Ginny spat back, "if you can't trust us to play fair, then I think the concept of that type of game is pretty much screwed."
And this was just SO Weasley:
She was going to make sure that they won this
The fireworks were such an inspired idea too!

I think that may have been the final nail that sent Snape into such a fury.
Did Smith actually praise Harry in front of the Death Eaters?

Thank you. They're will be 20 chapters which end with the book so Ginny's head on Molly's shoulder. And now that I am settled in my new country (I moved from Britain to Thailand towards the end of last year), I will go back to posting regurally. |

Hi, just to say I am really enjoying this story. You are capturing what the students had to put up with while HRH were Horcrux Hunting, and especailly from Ginny's point of view, who would have had DE's and Snape gunning for her. I would like to see a bit more of Neville and Luna, because we know that they were also heading the rebellion.

Considering that Zecharias Smith had been in the DA, his current stance is a bit curious. I suppose he's more interested in slef-preservation than he was back then.
It seems that the plans for the match have succeeded rather well -- though I also suspect that accusing Snape of cowardice may well have been the final straw, there.

Considering that Zecharias Smith had been in the DA, his current stance is a bit curious. I suppose he's more interested in slef-preservation than he was back then.
He was the only member of the DA that didn't fight in the battle and gave a similar commentry if less vile in HBP.

WOW.
Love the idea of Ginny writing to Harry. I am concerned tho'. I hope she is using some kind of charm to cloak the letter so no one else can read it or some disappearing ink or something. Probably something the twins created! I didn't see anything mentioned and I just don't think Gin would be stupid enough to not think the death eater teacher smight be going thru her stuff in particular. So sad here. You can feel the longing.
Luna amused me here. Even tho' her ploy didn't work, it was funny for a bit. I was impressed with Ginny's self control here too.
The fireworks were great. I did cringe when the ones about Snape went off. But, she did make an impact. Wonder what she's in for now! Methinks quidditch is going to be the least of her worries! Yikes...

Its mention in chapter one that Ginny burns the letters and just uses them to out pour her feelings. This will come up again later though.

Luna is a very smart witch.
I was impressed with Ginny's self control here too.
She is slowly learning to keep that Weasley temper in check.
