Anyway, do you really need a wand to change into your animagus form? I mean, Sirius obviously didn't have his in Azkaban yet he was able to change... However, great incantations!
And why hawk? | | Saturday 13th December 2008 21:34 | Last Adventure (Author Response) | I think... that if you're either a very powerful wizard or you're VERY used to your transformation then you don't need a wand, but otherwise you do. and yeah, I loved that bit too. And hawk because at the outset of the story all the marauders had to be injured and she flew for help. Obviously I changed it, but I like the idea of Lily as a hawk... noble, courageous, determined and beautiful.
Also I think she fits the latin (falconiformes) very well. I don't know why. It just seemed very Lily. |
