Awww good to see that Lily was able to practice her healing charms on James =] Good sign of encouragement

Great chapter yet again. Hoping that Hagrid can offer some assistance to the fallen falcon. Just one question: was Peter punished for killing the falcon?

I'm an incorrigible James and Lily fan so I'll try to find any way I can to make them start getting along.

Alas, no. It'd be hard to punish him for a moment of panic and ineptitude--he was, after all, in danger--but I imagine he already feels a bit guilty for it in front of his friends.

I really love the way you write Lilly - particularly the way she interacts with James. So many authors look at that one scene in OotP where she's shouting at him and take this to mean she abuses him heatedly whenever she sees him, which completely and utterly undermines what we've been led to believe of her character from Lupin and Dumbledore etc. (By which I mean she's supposed to be NICE.)

I think you've interpreted her extremely well - she clearly finds James a bit annoying, but she's not openly hostile towards him whenever she sees him. Which is perfect, because that's generally how people over the age of about 13 act when they're around people they don't like.

So yeah. This fic demonstrates observation which is sadly lacking in most MWPP fics, in addition to being sweet and fluffy and nicely-written. Looking forward to reading more! =]

Thank you so much for this review. It came during the midst of a busy project for me, and though it's taken me some time to reply, I much appreciated receiving it. It is always nice to hear from people who are like-minded with regard to Lily's opinion of James.

Ah, well said. I'm totally in agreement with you. I like to think she'd noticed some aspects of James, but was otherwise put off by his attitude.

Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed the story so far. The next chapter should be up shortly!

i completely disagree..! i just love the james/lily pairing..in my view its the most romantic pairing but yeah..their being killed by voldemort is very sad and depressing..but the romance of their school years is just magical..and zia montrose i would like to say that u are a very talented author and have written this story very well indeed...indeed its a shame that more people dont review your excellent work...they get the time to read a full chapter..but give 1 review..no..never...but as i said ..this is a very good story so please keep up the great work...cant wait for more..

Your review made my morning, just so you know! Especially since these last two chapters have been rather quiet on the review front. Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed this. It means a lot.

James and Lily stories are generaly not my favourite (because I know what happens to them and it makes me sad). But here you make them so real and such nice people, even if James would deny it! Good writting.

Thanks so much for your review! Your enjoyment of the story is my reward for writing it. You're not the first to cite that reason for not gravitating toward the L/J pairing and I can totally understand that. I like to think they lived life to the fullest while they were around. Ah, James... I think I'm even more fond of his character because of his faults.
