Hello there!

I just want to congratulate you on awesome writing. I still follow this story, both here and on fanfiction.net! I've been meaning to review for ages but I just keep forgetting to. That said, I have a few questions that have accumulated since I last re-read both your stories.
First, are we ever going to get the full story behind Scott's family/origins?
And are Kharadjai made? Or are they born? I seem to remember Scott talking about making Harry a Primare? Or am I imagining things?
Other thing, are we ever going to find out why Scott was assigned to this job?

Other than that, I can't wait for your next chapter, I come back at least once or twice a month in the hopes that I might find a new chapter. That's actually what I'm doing here today.

As for the actual review part of this 'review', I think you asked once whether there was any Muggle place I'd like to see them in. Well, I think it would be great for them to take an airplane somewhere. But then again, I can't see why they would ever need to, so maybe not. Maybe they can go see a movie. That should be fun.
Other thing is that I really enjoy Scott/Lila interactions. I like the sibling aspect of them.

Ok that's all I can think of for now, but I'll definitely write another review if I think of more! Once again, good job on an awesome fanfiction, and looking forward to the next chapter!

Let me have it.

First, are we ever going to get the full story behind Scott's family/origins?

Very doubtful. There's been a few scattered references and clues here and there, and there will be more, but probably nothing further. Scott's 'origin', such as it is, has no bearing on the story, and, as you've seen, he tends not to talk about it.

And are Kharadjai made? Or are they born? I seem to remember Scott talking about making Harry a Primare?

You may be confusing race with rank. You were born a human, but can be made a Captain. 'Primare' is a job title, Scott's rank and status as a member of the Primarius special forces. 'Kharadjai' is his race.

As for the other aspects of your question, it might be touched on in the story at some point. Though if you're asking if Scott was somehow manufactured, then no. Scott and Lila are natural siblings born in the same manner as the rest of us.

Other thing, are we ever going to find out why Scott was assigned to this job?

Maybe. Back in the previous story, Scott asked Sophie to look into that for him. But, now she's on the mission with him, so she can't. If she ever found anything out, she hasn't said yet.

Other thing is that I really enjoy Scott/Lila interactions. I like the sibling aspect of them.

I know they've been separated for awhile now, so there hasn't been much of that.

Ok that's all I can think of for now, but I'll definitely write another review if I think of more! Once again, good job on an awesome fanfiction, and looking forward to the next chapter!

Almost as much as I look forward to your next review!

For various technical reasons (including senility!) I have not checked this site for a while. Came back to a very interesting position with plenty action. Look forward to what the Grey Lady has to say.

"Hey, you’re the teen girl with a boyfriend. I’m the single white guy with a gun, if I die it’ll be near the end in heroic self-sacrifice." Lol!

Yay, Dumbledore clears some stuff up for them! Though, not too much; you have to keep it difficult for them, so just enough to balance out the help they're not getting from goblins and such. Why didn't they take the Pensieve with them, if that's got all his pertinent research? Though, I guess Scott was too dazed by the revelation to think of that when it was time to leave. (If you thought of that, that was very sly, so kudos.) Because I'm reading this as it comes up, I forgot it was still summer, so I was expecting Snape to be in the office when they went in. (Why aren't the other professors at their homes, then?)

Dumbledore calls himself a Parseltongue here, but a person who speaks Parseltongue is a "Parselmouth."

Please keep up the good work!

They already have his research, boiled down to the information about the Horcruxes. Harry learned what they needed to know during his sessions with Dumbledore in sixth year, any collected memories would just be confirmed the Horcruxes again. Dumbledore gave Harry the cliff notes version, the end result of all his collecting.

Also, the pensieve is described as being made of stone, I believe, large and heavy. Scott could probably carry it, but he needs his hands free for shooting, and Hermione wouldn't be all that invisible if she were moving the thing (and remember, she left the handbag with Harry).

Also, I doubt Scott would think of taking it. He's probably only vaguely aware of what the pensieve even is. If there was something vital still to be seen in the memories Dumbledore collected, he'd have told them to take it. Or just told Scott, which would have been easier (and that's pretty much what he did in this case, as opposed to only showing up at the end of the book).

Because I'm reading this as it comes up, I forgot it was still summer, so I was expecting Snape to be in the office when they went in. (Why aren't the other professors at their homes, then?)

It's common practice for teachers to show up at school before the semester starts to get things ready. Harry and his crew are there only days before school starts, so it stands to reason the staff is there.

As for Snape, who knows? He's not exactly welcome there, Headmaster or no, and may be delaying. Even more likely: he's playing right hand man to Riddle. As the current favorite, he has to show up and be visible and kiss Voldemort's enough to stay the favorite. Riddle seems to love his little gatherings.

Dumbledore calls himself a Parseltongue here, but a person who speaks Parseltongue is a "Parselmouth."

Yes, someone else pointed that out, as well. A mistake on my part.

Nice chapter, I'm glad you're still writing, there is practically no readable fanfiction coming out any more...
I wonder what Scott will do with the news Dumbledore gave him. By the way, what are Lila and Sophie doing these days? ;-) Could you give us an update on them?

I guess I haven't really been looking.

Lila is still with the Order over at Shell Cottage, and we might be seeing more of her if they go on a mission or something. Sophie has been around the last few chapters, not these last two, obviously, but she was a pretty constant presence at Grimmauld. She'll be seen again when they go back.
