These Cuts I Have
My first thought after reading the Harry's last thought was, "They'll revisit it." Just by how Harry was acting at the end and the fact that he was physically sick to his stomach has pretty much told Ginny that there is far more to Harry's story than he's willing to tell right now. Therefore, knowing your Ginny, she'll be patient, probably ask a leading question or two when Harry is calmer and more willing to revisit the details, and then sit back and watch what happens. Knowing Harry, he'll eventually realize that Dumbledore was right all along and that bottling up the details of the story is far more detrimental to his health than getting the entire story off his chest.

Ginny also made me smile when she was able to pull George out of his morose mood. I'm glad she was able to do that because for the entire Weasley family to heal, every member needs to come to terms with Fred's absence and learn to move on to the new normal.

Finally, I'm glad Andromeda brought Teddy to visit Harry. That darling little boy has given Harry another reason to move on and look forward to the future. His grandmother needs other people to support her and Harry will make a wonderful friend to lean on because he knew Remus and Tonks and Sirius as well as knowing what it's like to grow up alone and being fiercely devoted to seeing that Teddy doesn't grow up that way. I also think that Andi will prove to be a valuable resource for Harry because she had familial insight to more than one of the fugitive Death Eaters.

I've grown quite fond of this story. It always makes my day when I see the notification email in my mailbox that you've posted another chapter. Well done.

You are right that Ginny will work out there's a missing piece. You'll see that in the next chapter. Ginny is really stepping up for Harry and her family, but she's not completely well herself, so keep that in mind.

I'm really glad you're enjoying the story. I always enjoy your comments.

These Cuts I Have
Oh, I loved Harry with Teddy, and his internal vow that Teddy will never feel that he's all alone. I can imagine Harry rushing to Hogwarts to move hell and high water to keep first Teddy, and then the rest of the crew of kids, safe from whatever provocation there might be. The nurse and Harry made me smile. I can imagine a young man feeling that way. I've had several joint replacement surgeries, and I know how much I just wanted to be able to get out of bed and use the toilet or take a shower. Add a boy with a female nurse and I could just feel Harry's embarrassment. and his frustration, his desperation to stick those worst of all memories down so far he can never find them again.

Thanks, Sherry, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Harry's need for a shower has been sort of a running thing of late...
