These Cuts I Have
OMG OMG OMG - I somehow missed this until now. Which meant that I got to read all the way to this point straight through without waiting for updates. And now I need to wait. I am so in love top with this story. I love the stories that take place after the final battle and there are not enough good ones that go into all the stuff I want them to cover. Thank you so much for this! My 11yo daughter is finally reading the HP books and she knows I read fan fiction. After finishing a book, we have talked about what kind of fan fiction she would right after that book. I've mentioned your other stories before in those discussions. I do not think when she finishes the series, I'll hook her up straightaway with this story (I love the sexy scenes, but may want her to wait a year or two?), but I won't be able to make her wait long. This is just too good.

While waiting for the next installment I will go back and read all your other fan fiction.

I can't believe you left us hanging as to what the Weasleys are going to do to the Dursleys! Oh I hope it's something good.

You know, as much as I like the action parts I also really like those moments when they're just sitting together as friends, talking about nothing in particular and enjoying each other's company. I loved those few moments like that in cannon too and the even fewer in the movies. You've done a great job capturing them as friends.

This chapter feels a bit like an intermission and that something is about to happen. As always, I'm looking forward to what's next!

Thanks for this new chapter. Still enjoying it. Wondering what you've got in mind as Red Rascal's Revenge for the Dursley's.

One more thing - oddly enough, this is the first I've heard about "Cursed Child". It sounds interesting and yes, Harry's happily ever after seems at risk. Of course, in real life is there truly any happily ever after? I wouldn't fret too much - one of the great things in fanfiction is that it allows you to steer the story in your own direction. You don't have to take the canon if you don't want to. Imogen's Carpe Diem is still my favorite piece of fanfiction and I like to re-read it every year. Don't let it get you down. Let's hope it's a nice, edgy story that keeps us on the edge of our seats...

Hopefully they'll release some sort of live DVD so those of us across the pond can still see it.

That was too cute about the picture of the sleeping little Harry hanging on the wall. I've got one of my own son on the wall, too! So...what are the Weasleys up to now? Enquiring minds want to know! I'm looking forward to the next installment! Also, that was too funny with Hermione stuck on snogging Ron. It is rather funny to see her obsessing over something other than books!

I can't imagine Mrs. Weasley wouldn't hang some cute little Harry pictures. I think having a toddler to care for - even for just a few days - did her a world of good, as well.

These Cuts I Have
This is a very nice, quiet chapter showing how well things are beginning to settle in after the upheaval of the war. Harry's date with Ginny made me smile because of the "normalcy" of it all from Ginny's inviting dress to Harry asking a coworker for suggestions on where to take her. I'm glad they found a private place for their picnic and above all, that once Harry spied Lestrange, he didn't try to follow, thus ruining the date. In this instance Ginny was much more important in this moment.

I had to smile when Ron was worried about what his father wanted to discus with his sons. Guilty much, Ron? Harry's lucky to have this band of red-heads think him one of their own and I look forward to the retribution they exact on the Dursleys. I'm glad, too, that Hermione is in on Ron's part in the plan.

Finally, boys will be boys and never try to put a plate between them and their cartons of Chinese!

All in all, well done!

My own kids will never wait until I get all the cartons opened, either, lol! I like the idea of the trio still getting some easy moments together. I enjoyed writing the date, too. Life goes on...

I'm really hoping The Cursed Child is less "Harry was not actually all-is-well at all" and more "all was well, until a demon from his past got to him." The latter makes sense to me - I don't think you can ever just get past something like that. I guess we shall see? If I understand it correctly, it's not even being written by JKR, just reviewed and approved by her, which also makes it sound like an endorsed fanfic. I dunno. I love JKR and want to trust she knows what she's doing, but makes me nervous.

Anyway, good chapter! I especially liked Ginny teasing Harry, and the callback to book four with the toffee. I wonder whether Arthur made that association himself?

Exactly! It's not written by her, so is it really canon? I have mixed reactions to the entire thing, but I suppose I have to wait and see. I really hate waiting!
