Would Harry, who has had no happiness in the Muggle world whatsoever (e.g., Dursleys) and found such great joy on finding out he was a Wizard (remember his first trip to Diagon Alley), really turn his back on the Wizarding world? And Ron and Hermione? How could he leave his only true friends in the world? And how could they let him leave? Yes, Ron would get angry and might even punch him, but after breaking his jaw, wouldn't he drag him back inside? Why is it Remus and Sirius who maintain contact with Harry? Even if Ron did let Harry walk away that night, wouldn't he and Hermione keep sending Harry Owls and visiting him?
Well, enough said there, Let me go read some more of this lovely story.

Why is it Remus and Sirius who maintain contact with Harry?
Because they're who he turned to after his heart was broken.

Well done! I like the way you set up your story with so much information to be learned, and are using different POVs to share it. It's sad how Harry has grown so much in some respects, but in others, he is woefully immature.
Sad to say, but at this point in the story, I'm wishing he'd stayed in the Muggle World. Doesn't seem like there's much for him in the Wizarding World but pain.
It's horrible how no one understands why he had to leave. But horrible as well that he cut all ties and never even wrote the Weasleys.
You've got your work cut out for you if you want to give this story a happy ending! At this point, I'm rooting for Christopher and Ginny to end up together, if all Harry and Ginny have to remember is some internal flames they shared.
Still love the Weasleys to death. Love the section on them all together!
