It really helps that Remus and Lily are both so intelligent and they have a history of talking to each other that helped in this most difficult of conversations. I'm glad Remus trusted Lily. It is great that Lily reacted the way she did. At least Remus doesn't feel rejected by his friend.
I know Remus has always had strong feelings for Lily. This is a great way to explain why those feelings exist. Of course Remus probably would have loved to have Lily for a girlfriend but he knew she was "James girl" and that wasn't going to change. You did a great job on this one. Thanks so much for writing.
